The Rasmei Kampuchea reported that Oknha Kith Meng, president of the Phnom Penh chamber of commerce, was elected to become the president of the Cambodian chamber of commerce because he was the only candidate in the election which was held on 03 October 2007. According to Mao Thora, secretary of state of the ministry of commerce, among the 12 presidents of the chambers of commerce in various province and municipalities, Kith Meng was the only volunteer to present his candidacy to this position. The 12 chamber of commerce presidents then proceeded to elect the president of the Cambodian chamber of commerce, and Kith Meng received all 12 votes, and he will become its president from now on. Kith Meng said that he was moved to fulfill his new position, but he said that this position is not that easy because there are a lot of tasks to accomplish, such as fulfilling the rice exportation policy of the government. Nevertheless, he said that he will work hard to successfully fulfill his new task of exporting Cambodian rice.

It is so shameful of you have wished someone to die. It is so un-constructive in your criticism. It does not how bad they are, you don't wish them to die. You are perpetuating the culture of violence. If you endorse this behavior, don't you think it will come back to haunt you?

I didn't want anybody to die. I just want to show that doing bad deeds in Cambodia will make you rich and powerful. Bad deeds will not harm you, Kith Meng is an example. That's why almost everybody in Cambodia always do bad thing to other people so that they can be rich and powerful like hun sen and kith meng. It pays to be bad. God doesn't punish them! No one is!
Someone must brought the "stab each other in the back to get ahead" moral less ideology from the west here, and I wonder who that might be? Can someone help me out with a hint or something?
This animal is one of the land grabbers to re-sell for Australian Embassy. If his victims can find any good lawyer, he cannot escape justice at all. There is too much shame already for this animal for killing his brother for being rich and powerfull.
The West initiated the concept of "divide and conquer" and "dog eats dog" politics. It's still portrayed in the hollywood movies, but the strength of the rule of law in their countries is unquestionable. We turn their concept into practice, that's why we see most bad people get away with anything in Cambodia. The economic bottom line is someone's gain is someone else's loss. Kith Meng's gain is someone's or some people's loss.
In the afterlife, God will smile upon all the good, the bad and the ugly. Adolf Hitler and Pol Pot committed crimes against humanity. Has anyone ever sent an email from heaven or hell to say what has happened to them? When things don't go your way, you say it's bad karma. When things go your way, you thank God. God is never blamed for anything, that's why powerful Kings, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Businessmen and Cronies want to be worshiped as God. In some pagodas in Cambodia, you see Hun Sen portraits sharing the same place as the Buddha statues. You thank God, you thank Kit Meng. You pray to Buddha's image you pray to Hun Sen's portrait. That's the idea.
If you see people doing bad things, don't pray for their death. You do something. The bad boys use the word "killing" like having breakfast, and it gets them somewhere. But the good people can't do that and they instead suffer in silence and start to pray. If you become the Angel of Death by killing the bad few, God will still smile upon you just like He smiles upon those bad people you have killed.
The Muslim hard liners introduce a lethal weapon to try to achieve their ideal objective, suicide bombing. The suicide bombers are convinced that they will go to heaven and have sex with many virgins after their mission. There are plenty of volunteers! Nevertheless, neither side is winning the battle because God does not take side. Now, you know what to do!

You are right. But I don't know who is the state?
CPP leaders have always shared state's property into their own pockets. Legally, properties which have been sold must be forwarded into treasury.
Like the Supreme Monk H.E. Tep Vong said, the CPP is the owner of the house (Cambodia). Other parties are just house guests (opposition parties, transparency advocates, etc.), so the CPP members can do whatever they like to the house. State = CPP, that is their defined policy and political framework. In effect, both the police and the military are also parts of the CPP machine.
How many prime state properties now become the private properties of Hun Sen's family, relatives, cronies and friends? Don't forget the Chea Sim / Sar Kheng clan as well. Not just the state properties, even a significant portion of custom duties and taxes also go straight to the CPP treasury, not the state. The National Treasury has much less money than the CPP Treasury.
Is that good or bad?
