31 October will be Norodom Sihanouk’s birthday. His secretariat office invites all personalities not to undertake celebrations during this occasion.
Once again, the royal secretariat of Cambodia insistently asked all Cambodians and foreigners not to celebrate any ceremony for King-Father Norodom Sihanouk. In a communiqué distributed on 23 October, Srey Nory, the director of the royal secretariat, underscored that King-Father expressly asked to Cambodian and foreign personalities, including members of the royal family, “not to offer or send him gifts, fruits, cakes, … not to visit him or send him greetings messages during the occasion of his birthday, Christmas, or New Year….” On many occasions, Norodom Sihanouk personally wrote several messages about the same subject. Nevertheless, a birthday ceremony is already planned for Wednesday 31 October by government officials.

Really, westerner trained people have very low family value in comparison to real khmer. That is why Sihanouk was betrayed by his own cousin Sarimak. And if that is not enough proof, just look at how the Royalists are acting in the FUNCINPEC and NRP. I don't know what else I can say, but Westerner trained people is not fit to run Cambodia. To me, the royalist are not Khmer. Allow me to clarify. What determine a person to be Khmer is their brain and mentality, not their skin and DNA. In other words, if I can't put a khmer's brain in a french white folk body, that will turn that white folk into a real Khmer person. Do you see what I am saying? Thus, if you want to be real Khmer you must have khmer mentality and value.

What I am asking is a mentality change, change towards progressive with an open mind but cautious.
Royalist are still cambodian in a sense, but mentality of a better class in society is a big mistake, is not relevant anymore.
RESPECT in any way you look at is earned but not given.It takes courage and sacrisfice, time effort and some case live.ETHICS we should abide by, to gain respect from poor cambodian as well as from colleages.

We all know that no one walking around with moral and values roun the neck.In fact they are interpreted by taken actions.It obvious regardless how much or fleshy you wear are not counted.
May be we can list some of morals and their values added.It comes back to human rights or Silas in buddhist term, because everyone is equal-Born with nothing and die with nothing.
The differences are intellect and its application for society contribution.There are:
