The youngest daughter of former monarch Norodom Sihanouk, who was nominated by the Funcinpec party as its candidate for premiership during the upcoming 2008 general election, said that she will assist in pulling up Funcinpec, and in particular, in supporting the value of women.
Princess Norodom Arunrasmy told RFA that she does not want to be involved in politics because of the ever changing political situation, however, because the decision has already been taken by the Funcinpec party congress, the princess must forced herself to accomplish the work in order to obtain victory.

1:00, the question is not whether we can invent computer or not, but are we set up for that. Only rich country can do that? Even China is struggling to build computer chip, but we will, once we get out of poverty. I mean that is if we want to build computer then. The critic is uneducated to think we got magic wand to do anything or anytime we please.
As for Cambodia democracy, I don't hear many people crying over it. Maybe you got specific need that millions of people don't care about. If so, can you tell me specifically what that might be?

What kind of jobs you will get?
#1 we do not know how to keep the job.
#2 poor government do not know ,how to teach ,it citizen to learn, how to make business with foreigners.******(important)
#3 punish foreigners with a small mistakes while they pour money to Cambodia.
#5 while we have all opportunities to get all investors we let them go to Vietnam or China.
We have to learn how to kiss ass with the big investors like in Thai land they run their business by look after the States styles,when ever incident happen in their country the westerners are free and the local men go to jai(who care just a while) so they keep big fishes by let small fishes go. So please take some good and kick out bad or which is fit for your country,that what I think to benefit your country ,what I have observed from Thai on line.
4:46, ight now we need any kind of job. The idea here is to give people something to do in order to keep them out of trouble or getting depress.
Once everyone has something to do then they are in a better position to ask for more benefit or salary because the company will have a hard time finding replacement. You don't really need to do any illegal strike and chase businesses out of the country as we do from time to time.
As for teaching people, if the people don't want to learn there is no help for them. You can't blame government for that. Even the US Education system failed to get a large number of Khmer to finish High School.
In regard to mistreated foreigner we only got a couple characters that we can't stand: on of them is Ah Chkout Yash Gai.
And yes, our objective is to attract business to Cambodia but with the constant nonsense political scenes in Cambodia, we have lost many businesses to Vietnam because they appeared to be more stable for the business.

Don't ever dream about winning the election, the FUN. If you can keep 5 seats in the next general elections that would lucky enough.

The appoitnment of the princess is a plan that they want a Norodom to get humiliated and also to discouraged women from holding a political post in the future because they know that she can never help the FUN to win the powers back. After all the Sisowath and The Nhek is running the FUN and they want te get back to the Norodom's family.

5;46AM our country some times failed but it better than any where on the planet to live ,while we down we all way get back to our feet,because why our people pay a lot taxes for,while we are sleeping those taxes people still watching us why and where we are getting money from to make our bank account fat,our people make &10.00 we get to spend may be $5.00 the rest are taxes,so how about Cambodia the rich can earn what they want,they some times not even pay that taxes,so all that blood suckers goes free ,Ok let play little thing like this set up the small development borrow money from government$100000.00 Loan the money to Local investors=small businesses(all kinds) Who qualify for that loan they have to have properties cost more than their loan and they have to hide local workers 10 or 15 full timers, then when they broke or they breach contracts the small development department take their business or their properties to repossess .The small business people has to pay interest to small development to keep that department move on,and government get the taxes from business owners and it workers so what kind of trouble to create the jobs?
Yes, 9:20, domestic small business have played an important part of the economy everywhere on the planet. It can sometime fueled up 2/3rd of the economy in some country. The problem for us at the moment is the budget to help people start their own business or maintaining it. We just don't have enough money for that, but hopefully, we will. Right now the best we can do is to help people stay in business with little we got at our disposal. Fortunately, many small business here know how to look out for themselves and need not much assistant from us.
As for your proposal, it is not bad. When we get money to loan people for business, we will do just that. But for now, all we can do is to create a favorable condition for bank to loan people money with low interest. But I hope people will succeed, and not breaching any contract that will cost them their property and lifesaving, and we will do whatever we can to help them to succeed and grow with the economy. This is certainly a win-win solution for the country.

Everyone loves Cambodia, but what you're doing does help advance the countries in terms global trade, advanced edcuation, or providing decent health care.

I doubt it. The FUNCINPEC will only pick royalist for PM. Sochua don't have a drop of royal blood in her body. Thus, the highest position she can expect is Deputy PM, but even that will be a long shot because there are so many royalists in the party for all of the high position.
Sochua has her credential and ability besides being a respected woman.
May be FUNC is afraid to have someone with real senses and ability to represent it.
Other hand beware Raingsy and spouse are pure Sihanoukists a la carte than all of followers combined.
I don't think that is the case. FUNCINPEC party is a royalist party. And royalists will get all the top positions because they are family. If you own your own business you probably do the same thing, unless you own a huge corporation that is beyond your family control.
Also I disagree that Sam Rainsy is a true Sihanoukists, despite he have a lot of respect for Sihanouk. The reason is his father Sam Sary don't see eye2eye with Sihanouk and Sihanouk drove him into exile in the 60's.
Prime Minister job takes more than being a royal bastard or illigetimate droplets.

I don't know Sam Sary in detail, but he was a Sihanouk's big shot, and sometime after their relationship sour and Sam Sary was driven into exile.
May I suggest,get a copy or borrow from library a book by Milton Osborne,Sihanouk the prince of darkness and the prince of light,1993.

Princess Arun Rasmey is Princess Arun Rasmey. She is a Princess. What more title on Earth does she want beside being Queen? Perhap, it's her way of saying " I must take it all even if it doesn't grant her the exact title" which means she has to exist somewhere in top position or perhap big title " means big bucks!" and she needs big buck!. Someone smart, genuine and true intelligent like Ms. Mu Sochea just have to take the back seat. It's all possible, because she wasn't born royalty. The Princess is out to make every boby sick. We say it again: The royal family need to stay out of the politic and let true Khmer women & men take the seat in running the county. The royal family can and supervise the government.
