VLADIVOSTOK, October 19 (Itar-Tass) -- Two vessels flying the Cambodian flag were detained near the Primorsky Territory’s coast on Friday for illegally catching crabs.

About five tonnes of fish used as bait and tanks prepared for live crabs were found aboard a trawler. The captain did not present any permitting documents, the press service of the Primorsky territorial boarder guard department told Itar-Tass.

A schooner was also detained for poaching there. Boarder guards found almost 16 tonnes of live crabs aboard. The poachers either did not present any documents allowing fishing in the Russian economic zone.

The two vessels were escorted to the port of Nakhodka for investigation. After examination by specialists, the crabs most likely will be returned back into the sea. The day before, boarder guards set free 4,430 live crabs seized from poachers, thus preventing over-3.6-million-rouble damage to the state.

OMG, 16 tons of Russian crabs.

Lock them (Hollywood life-style seeker) up and incinerate the key.
