Singapore (AHN) - It's open skies as 10 Southeast Asian nations agreed this to week to have free air access between their capital cities by December next year.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) agreed in a series of meetings in Singapore that ended Friday to finalize agreements allowing for full air travel between the member states.
The deal paves the way for increased tourism, easier business travel and more efficient trade routes.
The agreement is expected to be signed early next year, according to Singapore Transport Minister Raymond Lim. "It is vital that all remaining obstacles are cleared in order to make it become reality so as not to affect ASEAN's credibility to deliver on its plans. We are so close to the finish line," he said.
The ASEAN includes Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

So what does the "Free Skies" or the open skies mean? Well, it means that the Thaicong are free to launch their missiles into Cambodian airspace and nobody can do a damn thing about it!
This is called for mutual destruction! Cambodia needs to reconsider seriously about rearmaments!
