Khmer cultural images once destroyed is irreplaceable. The Angkor Wat complexes is a gift from the ancestors and pride for many Khmers. We ought to protect our culture heritage!
What can be done to rid of poverty? There are many ways. But, the Khmer elite became very Capitalistic after the calamity. The poorer/poorest have trampled on because many Khmers have no moral principle anymore.

Good job, there is still fish around in our lakes, ponds and rivers! I go fishing as part of my hobby, but I rarely catch any fish. Just poor luck or the fish stock is being depleted?
