The royal government of Cambodia has decided to auction off 3 state-owned rubber companies in Kampong Cham province. The Rasmei Kampuchea reported that the decision for the auction was done in an announcement made by the council of minister recently.
The announcement indicated that the Boeung Ket rubber plantation was auctioned off to the Long Sreng company for more than $9 million, in a 99-year lease. The Memot rubber plantation was auctioned off to the TTY company for more than $11 million, and the Chamcar Andoung rubber plantation was auctioned off (cost?) a French tire company (Michelin?).
The announcement also indicated that the Boeung Ket plantation occupies a total of more than 7,000-hectare of lands, the Chamcar Andoung: more than 6,000-hectare, and the Memot plantation: more than 9,000-hectare.
Rasmei Kampuchea also indicated that Chan Tong Iv, the ministry of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, presided over the transfer of these companies on 14 November. He said that in Kampong Cham province, there will be a transfer of 3 rubber plantation companies to private companies, the three plantations are: The Boeung Ket plantation, the Chamcar Andoung plantation, and the Memot plantation.
Chan Tong Iv added that, based on the agreement made with the 3 private companies which auctioned off the plantations, they agree to allow former employees to continue working there. He then called on all the workers to pay attention in their work, and to provide good work in order to bring in prosperity.

Auction off my bun, mee chkout (Socheata). It auctioned the 99 years lease for the rubber plantations.
Yes, this is an ingenious idea to develop the land quicker in an attempt to leave inflation in the dust. But be need to do a lot more auctioning.
Thank you God for helping us and our leaders.
sell, sell, sell including your mother before the election. if you lose at least you got some money that stolen from the state.
What? Who said anything about sell? We only lease for 99 years.
We will ask help from the US army to take all the moneies back to the state and its people.
Oh you mean take all the moneys and all the Khmers back to the US? If so, I am sure none of our neighbors will object to your proposal. They will even come over to help everyone pack for the land of opportunities.
Hun Sen sell and lease every thing that he thinks he could do. Next time don't forget to lease or sell your Bun Rany and daughters too. This guy has done a lot of damage to Cambodia such as forestry, fisheries, land grabbing, land encroachment, killings the singers and opponents, allowed illegal Vietnamese living freely in the country, national treasures, etc...
IT'S TIME TO TAKE HIM AND HIS GANGS OUT OF CAMBODIA FOR GOOD.
Wrong, Hun Sen is the best Khmer leaders of all times, and we want him to rule forever.
