Cambodia PM denies son's involvement in political affairs

PHNOM PENH, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said here on Wednesday that his 28-year-old son Hun Manet isn't involved in the political affairs of the country.

"Some political leaders said that my son will succeed me. I want to tell them that my son isn't involved in the political affairs of the country," he said at the graduation ceremony of a local school.

"They said that my son will try to be member of parliament (for the general election in 2008), because he always goes to Siem Reap province to distribute donations," he said.

"If my son wants to do something, he has to wait. Now, he can only join humanitarian, social and cultural actions. He can't get involved in the political affairs of the country," he said.

He added that his son has his military rank as lieutenant in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.

Hun Manet, the oldest son of Hun Sen, has graduated from the West Point Military School in the United States and currently continues his study in the economic field in England.

Gentleman

Why Manet is involved so much in the name of Moha rich father, father of bribery's collection, it is because Siem riep where the big golden treasure is.

It is the time to give now to build up his profile, and reap the profit later.Nothing new, Oknha does that so does Manith. Also Mana is co owner of museum in Siemriep.

So when Hun Sen is retired, simply move to Siemriep as well. Exit strategy but building up empire on Angkor wat.Hun Neng is closed to the East, Hun Sen is closed to the west and leave our King to reign in the middle, if Cambodia is still got left.

Sad life for poor cambodians, unless our king maintains cambodian kingdom.

Oh, shut the fuck up, 5:38, stop blaming your failure in life on everyone else who work hard for their money.

We could used a lot more museums in Cambodia, and there are lot of artifacts all over the region. Therefore, stop crying and get your lazy ass moving.

AH HUN MANET just like his father AH HUN SEN and they both never fail to show the Cambodian people image as beggar!

This kind of beggar mentality has got to go! No Cambodian people want to born to this planet Earth as beggar! Real human don't have the behavior of a beggar!
