On 08 November 2007, the Funcinpec party announced, through its spokesman, the expulsion of Prince Sisowath Thomico from the party after he was accused of insulting the party leadership. However, now it is learnt that the party no longer expels the prince from its rank anymore.

The Rasmei Kampuchea newspaper reported in today’s edition that Funcinpec has decided to stop expelling Prince Thomico and it even agreed to let the prince negotiate to seek a resolution for the unification between Funcinpec and the NRP.

Rasmei Kampuchea reported that Funcinpec change of position took place during a two-hour meeting between Keo Puth Reasmey, Funcinpec president, and Prince Thomico on 14 November 2007. Prince Thonmico confirmed to the newspaper by phone that he did meet with Keo Puth Reasmey, and that during the meeting, he and Keo Puth Reasmey agreed that Funcinpec must continue its stance of looking for a resolution in order to unite the NRP with Funcinpec.

Prince Thomico indicated that Keo Puth Reasmey gave him the green light to work on the unity between Prince Ranariddh and Funcinpec. The prince said that he plans to travel to meet Prince Ranariddh overseas also, should Prince Ranariddh allow him to meet.

During the meeting between Keo Puth Reasmey and Thomico, Keo Puth Reasmey told the prince that he did not sign the letter to expel the prince from Funcinpec yet, therefore, Thomico is still a Funcinpec party member.

On his end, Muth Chantha, NRP spokesman, told the Rasmei Kampuchea newspaper that the issue with Funcinpec was ended long ago. The current position adopted by Prince Ranariddh is to have all his party members put their efforts to work (for the party). Prince Ranariddh considers that negotiations with Funcinpec lead to an unclear situation for the party members. Prince Ranariddh wants party members to know that the NRP has a clear position.

Sounds like the right thing to do. I just hope they don't spend too much time on nonsense, but focus on accomplished as much as they can for the country before the election. That way, they will give voters reason to vote for them.

They have and creating too much problems. They are just a bunch of animals fighting for Smao Kchiy.

The quiker these animals disappear from this planet the better for Khmer as the whole.

Maybe, but right now, we can use all the help we can get, big or small.

Prince Thomico is A Chkuot man, moving from one place to anotheer.
To be rspected , you must listen to the Father King's advices.
The Snagkum Niyum was good, but not perfect. And it is the PAST.
Now were are living a new ere.
We must stop the CPP from seising the power for ever.

Yes, the Sangkumrineyum is nice, but they failed. The stupid republic failed even quicker, and the KR was the worse, and that is enough of westerner trained people to run Cambodia. They totally destroyed everything. I mean nothing was left, and I mean big Zero, Empty, Blank, Nada, Null,...

Enough is enough. We (Khmers) want our country back. Just stay the fuck out of our way, alright? We are doing fine by ourselves so far. We are growing back, and everything belong to real Khmer, not Ah Khmer westerner trained idiots.

10:46 AM Don't get too excited, my friend!! 40% of the real khmers are below the peoerty line = dirth poor.

The Songkum Reass niyum was good because ah srokey was busy with civil war. As soon as they done with civil war, Sihanouk regime was collaped. Non Nol, Pol Pot fall down. ah kvack regime is being told what to do.

I supposed your eastern were trained to listen to ah youn and can do yack sh**T without ah srokey advice.

40% is history, 11:13. Today it is only about 25% and it is better than Louisiana at 28%.

oh really? 12:37 PM. where is your prove? because Cambodia is run by a bunch of your stupid fools, it is belower than the rest of Asian. it is even lower than lao'eve.

all I ask is GET REALL!! STRENGTHENING from the inside out in term of natural resources, land managements and laws of corruption. Cambodian economy is being threated by t'lame and ah srokey.

what da craps are you talking about? if you want to make your feel real good, compare yourlself to the KR, not Lousiana. Lousiana get hit by Hurrican twice or so every year while Cambodia is in peace and ah kvack in power more than 26+ years. Yet Cambodia pple are still living in a dirt poor condition while Cambodia is rich in natural resource. unbelievable that you are happy with such a poor archievement.

4:53, If you scroll down that website until you see a table in yellow and blue header. They give you names to 5 different States that is in the same boat as Louisiana. That is Mississippi, West Virginia, Alabama, and Arkansas. Furthermore, it wasn't the hurricane that caused Louisiana poverty, but rampant corruption that happened for hundreds of years, dude. So stop embarrassing yourself here before many Khmer people.

As for the 26+ years for Cambodia, the first 13 years was just too violent. No investor in their right mind will come in to that type of admosphere; thus, we only had about 13 years to start moving. And to bring down poverty from 47% to 35% (or 12% drop) within 13 years is a miracle, Dude. Even the US can't do that.

I already notice those states you pointed out. 5:48 PM. Can you tell the difference of meaning of being poor in America and being poor in Cambodia? Let hope you understand better from that direction.

don't compare Cambodia to the US of A, fool. but it is ok to match yourself with ah srokey, ah t'lame or ah lao'eve.

beside Cambodia is rich with natural resource. and you don't investors to comin to make money over your head. really!! with the right mind and right management, Cambodia should grow rapidly to begin with.

however, it wasn't the case; was it? all i can say is you are low when you expect less from yourself.

That is soooo stupid, 7:40. don't compare Cambodia to the US of A?

Do you really thing being homeless in Cambodia is different from being homeless in the US of A? Do you really think begging on the street in Cambodia is different from begging on the street in the US of A? Do you think living in a rats and roaches infested house in Cambodia is different from living in a rats and roaches infested house in the US of A? ... Just what are you trying to tell us, dumb ass?

being poor in a rich country is different than being poor in a poor country.

Can you tell the difference?

Anonymous said...
