Phnom Penh, Dec 24 (Prensa Latina) Cambodian boxers started their first steps in the Cuban boxing school with the presence of Cuban coach Jose Luis Carranza, who is in charge of training the Cambodian team for two years.
Carranza is in this capital by virtue of a contract recently signed in a ceremony presided by Bou Chum Serey, Cambodian Education, Youth and Sports Ministry Sub-Secretary of State, and Cuban Ambassador Gilda Lopez.
Chum Serey asserted that sports collaboration between Cuba and Cambodia will keep on growing, and improve training of young Cambodian athletes.
Cuban Ambassador Gilda Lopez highlighted the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries and the significance of signing the agreement.
