The draft law on peaceful demonstration written by the government was submitted to the National Assembly (NA) at the beginning of November, and the NA plans to discuss and approve it in the beginning of 2008. The draft law contains 6 sections, divided into 30 articles. It was approved by the Council of Ministers on 05 October 2007, and sent to the NA on 01 November 2007. The draft law was submitted to the NA permanent committee for a decision on 20 November 2007. There will be more laws drated and passed after 2008 to curb civil rights and liberties of Cambodians. All for the benefit of you know who or what.
Hun Sen has Kem Sokha to thanks for giving him a wider chance to solidify his control. Not to mention Vietnam is waiting in the wing to flood in more settlers.

Mr. Sokha, an educator from former Communist Easter bloc countries will always think and behave the same way it was trained to do - He, Himself and his ego above the interests of the nation. If he cares about his country, he could have foreseen the division he creates among the democratic forces. He won't get my vote for sure. Now married with Pen Sovann, a guy who has been raised and indoctrinated by Vietnam and has long defended Vietnam as a saviour of the country, that is a big question mark for your intelectuals in the West to re-think it over. Why Pen Sovann lives and many others died from re-education camp, jailed? killed?
