Cambodia draws 2.5 bln USD in foreign investment

Phnom Penh (VNA) – Foreign investment into Cambodia has so far this year reached 2.5 billion USD, much higher than last year’s figure.
Secretary General of the State Committee for Investment Suon Sothy said the increase was due to the Government’s approval of foreign-invested projects to develop tourism on islands in Sihanoukville and Kampot province, according to Cambodia’s Development Weekly.
Soun Sothy also attributed the rise to Cambodia’s favourable investment environment and legal system to ensure safety for foreign investment in the country.

What does it mean? It only means the failure of the poverty reduction policy of the government. It also means that it's all a front what the government supposes to achieve.

It is sad that everyone knows that Cambodians crony corruption at every level of government, but groups are supposed to be leaders do not recorgnise own behaviours.
They betray cambodian trust, abusing public power for own interest.These are crimes against own people and national constitution.
Only choice is the king has to fullfil his roles accordingly as the government can not manage its affairs.Otherwise cambodia is not guarrantied for stability. It looks as cambodia is in peace, but cambodians have lived in fear,NO PEACE OF MIND.
Your highness, please remove this worst stigma that has tarnished cambodians and CAMBODIA for some years.

Cambodia IS NOT POOR. It has more hummers an 4wd lexus than even rich countries like Australia.
