Yes, it's burning inside, isn't it? Seeing our won beloved culture going back to the Neanderthals' age, I, myself, is aching. It's been over a year since someone gave me this "KI website" to monitor the situation in Cambodia.
We (Khmers) NO longer practicing anymore Buddism, Altruism (philanthropistism), Moralism, and many more ...ism. KHMERS SEEM TO BE ENGAGING IN SELF-ABSORB, LIVE FOR ONE DAY ATTITUDES, BULLYING FOR SELF GAIN IN STATURES OR WEALTHS, ETC. We are turning blind eyes from the facts. And when someone challenging us, We (Khmers) acted the BARBARIC ways by silencing the persons of his/her dignity or death.
YES, THE POLICIANS, IN MY OPINION, IS THE ICONS OF KHMER CITIZENS SUFFERING. NO ONE IN THE OFFICES IS WORKING IN THE INTEREST OF THE NATION, CAMBODIA. HUN SEN IS LIKE A PUDDLE OF WATER. THE LONGER THE WATER STANDS IN THE PUDDLE, THE WATER TURNED TO SEWAGE LIKE APPARENT.
PEOPLE OF CAMBODIA MUST WORK TOGETHER FOR A GREATER SOCIETY -- BY REPLACING LEADERSHIP WHEN THE TERM LIMIT IS UP. God bless the people of Cambodia to have courage to fight the corruption; strike the Corrupted official with the Polio Virus or a Mad Cow Diseases.
Thank you all for your Christmas Holiday and New Year wishes. And Thanks for the wonderful website. I've enjoyed reading news from KI Media as well as comments from readers of all types and tendencies.
Thank you again and wish you all the best of luck and success.

Note: I just have a small favor to request for this New Year. And my request is for all KI readers wishing to post comments or opinions to please refrain yourself from using derogatory, insulting terms as being ignorantly employed by some Khmer top-level, yet low-educated, leaders in their daily business of politics to deal with people of different political views, to threaten human rights activists, to suppress poor people, and to defend their team of blind followers. I just feel that seeing no such insulting useless words makes my reading even more enjoyable. Thank you.
Holiday? What holiday. Since when has a Buddist celibrated a christian day, or have we given up being a Buddist country

One question to the KI Media team: Is it possible to create a monthly archive? Or could you generate a tag - index? It would be great to have the opportunity to search for older articles.
All the best to you!
Dear Ki Team,
From very far of the globe, I would like to thank you and your team for bringing fresh news to us from our motherland and from other Cambodian communities around the world which is really really good for our Cambodian around the world to know and to communicate to each other. On top of that, you have allow us to make our comments. I am sure amoung all our comments, there were some con and some pro. But at least, each of us has the opportunity to express ourself openly.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the team and all the participants of this media especially Sacrava, all my best wishes with good health and good luck for 2008. Areak Prey
Thank you to all of KI team members for all your mind your soul and your strength to keep us informed with our home land, keep us contact to our brothers and sisters in and out of the country.
I'm really appreciated of what your teams have been done for our country in term of informations and knowledges.
Have a merry merry Christmas and a happy new year to all of you and your family and all the best for our country in 2008.
to 9:02AM
I understand your frustration because all of us are the same boat, from one regime to another Cambodia is getting bad to worst.I remember a little bit better when our country was once in republic of Cambodia but not to long the country was burn down by the communist parties.I didn't know which one, vietnam or China?.
According to my friends research indicate that communist vietnam is the main key of the killing field.
Thousands of vietnam that were hiding behind pol pot's mask are now still behind hun sen'mask,so that why Cambodia has situation like to day, corruptions, crooked, killings,
lawlessness, poverty, break up solidarity between Khmer and Khmer because these vietcong want to make it happen in Cambodia.
Now all of us have to help find the ways to get out from vietnam like our brothers and sisters in Kampuchea Krom did otherwise the thieves will imprison the police.
i agree with anon. @ 4:46 PM.
Best Wishes to All.
THANK ALL THE STAFF FOR ALL THE HARD WORK. GOD BLESS YOU ALL MY KHMER PEOPLE.
Culture in mordern world is likely becoming more divergent than convergent. However, the trend of diversity and multiple-society has increasingly become important. Cambodia should learn to adopt new invading culture but they should effort to maintain the genuine origin of Khmerization.
In case of celebrating Christmas Day, I think it doesn't mean we are Christian because this day is influentially affected by economic growth and businesses. But this trend can destroy Khmer culture as well if Khmer peoples and government don't have intellectual measurements to assimilate and Khmerize it.
Also, I see this day is not important if it is not the long holiday and festivities for major advanced Westerners. And it is also the day of changing from year 2007 to 2008. Cambodian poeple should not recognize this new year day is more important than Khmer new year.
I would like to express sincere wishes and appreciation to KI teams who has tirelessly brought news to our Khmer peoples around the world.
We recognize that KI teams has volunteeringly worked for the profit of many and Khmer nation. KI is the witness of supporting growth to SRP. It is also reflecting the Hun Sen government that has been firmly controlled the mass media in Cambodia especially the tax profit from Cambodian peoples are being used unfairly by Hun Sen leadership through this media discrimination.
Best Wishes to KI teams, Readers, and all our beloved Khmer peoples around the world.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone on the KI Team and the readers. Really appreciate the stories, news, articles you present this us daily.
Also wishing the best and prosperous new year for all Khmer's around the world.
Christmas doesn't change us religiously, its just that we are becoming more westernized. We still have our strong Buddhist faith.
Westernizingly brainwashed by the Western Hemisphere countries and want to westernize Cambodia. You must be fucking brainless moron who have been miseducated by the West. We will not let you mislead our country.
You are the best,Thank you!!!
Merry Christmas to all Ki staff,May God bless you all.
