PHNOM PENH, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian ambassador to the United Nations Sia Kosal on Wednesday condemned the current U.N. human rights envoy to Cambodia Yash Ghai, accusing him of "having rude and arrogant behaviors" to the Cambodian people and government.
Yash Ghai looked down upon the Cambodian people and government by his comments in public, Kosal said in an official letter delivered to U.N. Secretary General Ban Kim-moon.
Yash Ghai said Cambodia was not ruled by law, Kosal said in the letter, adding that Ghai's words are equaled Cambodia with an anarchic and pre-history country.
Yash Ghai also urged the Cambodian people to rebel against the Cambodian government which was elected in democratic process, he said.
Cambodia is very upset for Ghai's words and behaviors which are unacceptable, Kosal said in the letter.
Although Cambodia did not need an U.N. special envoy on human rights, the government has always expressed the goodwill to accept the U.N. special envoy for improving human rights conditions in this country, Kosal said, adding that now the Cambodian government is considering whether the U.N. special envoy is still necessary.
Last week, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen criticized Yash Ghai and proposed to Secretary General Ban Kim-moon that he should be replaced.

Because of the U.N you're called "Cambodian Ambassador" where in real life you're just a freaking Viet's slave just like the boss of yours, Hun Sen. Why don't you pack up and leave and go back to tell your boss to withdraw Cambodia from the U.N body so you can help finish Khmer off more quietly and contribute more actively to the final phase of the Vietnamization and annexation of Cambodia or as you'd rather call it "The Indochina Federation". Wouldn't it be better, Kosal?

I must say that these people who run our country have a lack in taking responsibility for what's going on in Cambodia. These people who serve as leaders and officials lacks the capacity to do something in overcoming the negative comments that were truthfully observed by Mr. Yasi. I think the CPP’s role in politics is to find scapegoats and place the blame on others. Yet they criticize, in a way that’s not civilize and make us as a nation look bad spouting out absurd remarks.

You try to paint the situation in Cambodia from black to white externally, but we still see it black. The UN Rep just came to make an assessment about the human rights situation in our country; he comes to perform his professional job based on fact and evidences from many NGOs which have operated in the country for years. And whatever he got from them are more reliable than from the government sources. Hun Sen will be happy if he hears the UN Rep says what he wants. But Hun Sen can do that only in Cambodia but not in the world. It is the rule of the communist CPP to learn how to speak the same language. If we listen to the CPP officials'speeches, they speak only one language is to defense Hun Sen's actions: Khiev Kanharith, Oyem Tieng, Chem Yeat, Kheiv Sopheak, now Sia Kosal....
