Tit-for-tat game between Hun Sen and Ranariddh: Ranariddh Party Urges Removal of Vietnam Land Deals

Ranariddh Party Urges Removal of Vietnam Land Deals

The Norodom Ranariddh Party Tuesday urged the government to cancel 10 land agreements with Vietnamese companies, citing worries over illegal immigration and destruction of the environment.

The public call is one in a series of tit-for-tat announcements by Prince Ranariddh's party and Prime Minister Hun Sen, as Cambodia gears up for national elections.

The NRP accused government officials of setting aside 120,000 hectares of land for companies belonging to former Vietnamese military officials in Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom and Kratie provinces.

Minister of Agriculture Chan Sarun and other government spokesmen could not be reached for comment Tuesday.

The immigration of Vietnamese and other groups to Cambodia is often politicized ahead of elections.

Good job for NRP to throw mud into Hun Sen's face through this issues raising.

Hun Sen might has s.th. in mind to throw back to NRP.

Any issues relating to Hun Sen's boss are sensitive and good for NRP to give some lessons to Hun Sen.

If the prince really loves the country, wants respect by the people, and don't want to be fooled by hun sen again, I urge the prince to tell the country and the world about hun sen criminal activities. If the prince can get him kick out of the office, the prince will be Cambodia's hero and you can come back to build the country like you have visioned long ago. Don't let hun sen outsmart you or bring you down again. Remember you are better than him. Don't beg him to come back but, to destroy him so that you can come back with pride.

Good, Hun Sen just following the old path of Sihanouk. There is nothing wrong with that Ranariddh!

Remember, Sihanouk did that for Vietcong to destructed Cambodia in the 70's , so is Hun Sen in the new century.

Voila, c'est une preuve flagrante que notre pays est vraiment dans les mains vietnamiennes, et nos dirigeants moutons sont là pour faire juste la décoration.
