Kem Sokha, HRP president, criticized Hun Sen’s action, calling it a useless war of words. Kem Sokha said that Hun Sen should take heed of Prof. Ghai’s criticisms, in order to make improvement, and this would be more beneficial than starting a war of words to attack Prof. Ghai. Hun Sen rejected several requests to meet with Prof. Ghai who criticized the human rights condition in Cambodia, Hun Sen even called Prof. Ghai a god without virtue because Prof. Ghai criticized his regime.
