Walking Away from the Killing Fields?

The title sounds very soothing, encouraging and yet comforting...But Sihanouk had managed to, by hook or by crook, destroy it all:

Sihanouk had managed to crush Khmer race's spirit once and for all for the Viet/YUON's race through the infamous Killing Fields.

Had any, have any and will any Khmer race REALLY REALLY REALLY walked away from the Killing Fields???

First of all I congratulate Mr. Nophea Sasaki to obtain doctoral degree from Japan University. It's not easy to study Japanese language with different background. But,you can master their language and you are very exceptional. What is your field of study?

We need to get more educated people and other walk of lives to strenghten and save Cambodia from Vietnamese control. All of us know our nation become smaller and smaller because of our weak leaders who do not care, but their own interest. You said "You don't want to involve in politic", but every day where you work and live involve politic around you and especially at work place. If everyone think the same way as you did, we will see no more Cambodia to call in the near future. It's very painful that Khmer leaders do not love their own citizen, but helps the foreigners to destroy Khmer and her nation.

I also want to admire Mr. Bun H. Ung for your courage to draw political cartoons in the KI-Media.Blogspot.com for our viewers to read and watch. You're also an exceptional artist of Khmer people. You have done a lot of things to help Cambodia and her citizens.

Thank you for your interest in my book. Becoming a university professor is just a process. If you can stick to that process, anyone could be a professor. The process is explained in the book. Being a professor does not mean the same as being a politician. I agreed that our daily life is involed with politics, but what I meant politics is a country-level politics.

For the issue with our neighbors, I think it's a long story. In my opinion we must learn to respect people and to live in peace. Look at EU, they had bad stories too, but, why still they could form a European union? Look at even a very small country like Singapore, why they could live happily and peacefull with the neighbor.

By the way, this is not my blog. If you want to share your views with me, you may visit http://www.nophea.net (book ready for your reading!)
