A CPP Pursat deputy provincial governor died when his car hit a tractor at 8:30 PM on 29 January 2008, along National Road No. 5 in Maung Russei district, during his return trip from a mission in Battambang province. Dom Kim Ny, the 59-year-old deputy provincial governor, died on the spot, along with his 83-year-old mother. 54-year-old Ok Mony, another deputy provincial governor who traveled with Dom Kim Ny, was seriously injured and had to be transported over to Phnom Penh in the middle of the night. A report indicated that the 3 passengers were traveling a Toyota 4-Runner SUV driven by Ok Mony. When the car arrived at the level of Maung russei district, the driver wanted to pass a container truck, but at that time, another vehicle coming from the opposite direction forced Ok Mony to pull back to the right and hit a tractor moving in the same direction, but without any headlight. The impact was so violent that the car rolled over 2-3 times, and killed Dom Kim Ny and his mother immediately on the spot.

Even using a fucken horn can startle people which can lead to accident! Oh well! Back to square one! So what is the fucken solution now! The fucken solution now is to build bigger roads damn it! The reason most Cambodian roads are built so small because by AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave officials have small brain!

The evil hunts down the CPP officials one by one until their last ones. These officials think they have the right of way since they're a high ranking officials in the province. The high ranking Khmer officials act stupid and think they're above ordinary people. they think they can do whatever they want.

Let them die because they don't have any driver license anyway. For CPP died We're happy as Khmer.

True. The roads are so small and bumpy. No room for moto drivers, who are usually honked down by cars and buses. How sad.

It was sad to read comments which indicated the negativity comments pertaining to the death of a human being. Buddhism taught us to love and care for one another. Khmer Rouge doctrine had been used to kill enough innocent Khmer people. As Khmer people, we shouldn't promote the concept eliminating each others because of political belief. True Democracy should be respectfully honored and observed to reflect our freedom of speech. With that, I would share my deepest sorrow and sympathy to the Dom's family who are experiencing with their lost of their beloved husband, father and relatives and friends.
