In a speech given during a school inauguration in Kampong Thom province on Monday, Hun Sen said that if the SRP wins the election, the CPP will pull itself out and act as the opposition. “We are not scared, let you win and I will pull myself out and become the opposition. Right now, there are so many prime minister candidates: 2 or 3, like in the US,” Hun Sen claimed. He added that: “However, the CPP has all the strength it needs to form the government by itself, without the participation of any political party. The CPP is doing this, because right now, it does not need any negotiations anymore. Before, I was squeezed by the 2/3 majority rule, therefore (now) with 64 seats (at the National Assembly), I can form the government. Right now, the CPP has 73 seats, therefore, the CPP does not need anybody’s participation.”

Sure, after Raimsy won the election, the former ruling party can keep the military post, and the former prime minister will be in charged of the military.
There will be a lot of out of work government workers... what will they do, now that they have stolen from donors, and the people of cambodia?
Hun Sen himself is correctly estimating the possibility the CPP will lost its seats to SRP from 10 to 15.
CPP will get only around 59 or 60, not 64 like he said.
This is sure that SRP can join other parties, not CPP to form the government.

If that the case as AH Hun Sen opens his stinky mouth boasts he will concede after he lost the general election in April of 2008, means that he and his disciple will remain in power in Cambodia for life. see, this is like what goes around comes around and the cycle will never end. this report is a good example, in fact a concrete example of fear and the culture of fear. this is why it is very important that all parties ought to work together and share some power together in the gov't , again, for sake of national interest. can't emphasize this phrase enough: for national interest. this phrase alone has a very profound meaning than just the look alone. national interest. for the sake of the country, the economy, the people, all political should work together, even if one of the major party is losing. this called consolidation of power, meaning every political parties come together to work side by side for the national. i think people forget so quick that gov't existed because the people voted for them to represent the people of cambodia. since when was it about individual party or individual leader. a jet airline can fly with just one wing. nobody can walk with one leg. this is why cambodia need all parties to work together without so much conflict. must respect the rule of law. can't just do whatever one pleases or cambodia will be like the KR leaders again. i thought cambodian people would like to avoid that kind of gov't, then why are we doing this. please don't forget so soon. cambodia has 15 million people, not 500 hundred in the gov't. it not about gov't people fighting, it should be about serving the interest of the nation. wake up,people. people's power.
