On Monday, Kem Sokha, President of the Human Rights Party (HRP), said that he is more popular than Prince Ranariddh and opposition leader Sam Rainsy. He told The Cambodia that his closest rival are not Prince Ranariddh nor Sam Rainsy, but that it is prime minister Hun Sen. Kem Sokha hopes that in the upcoming general election, the HRP will beat the CPP and he will become the prime minister. However, Eng Chhai Eang, SRP Secretary-general, said that he is not concerned about the HRP. He said that there are only two parties that must compete in the upcoming election: the SRP and the CPP. Khieu Kanharith, spokesman for the government, mocked Kem Sokha, saying that if the latter cannot even rule his employees at the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR), how can he rule the country when he becomes the prime minister?

I hope Kem Sokha is correct by telling the world that his Human Rights Party will win over the CPP in the upcoming election. AS long as Hun Sen is out of power, Khmer people will have rights. Sam Rainsy keep telling Khmer people again and again that his party will win CPP. I heard he said it here in Long Beach and Stockton,California so many times. But He has never won. Now Kem Sokha sings the same song.
Let see who is going to win CPP. I strongly believe HRP and SRP will win CPP if they both unit. I have no hope they will be together but I keep praying.

SRP is aiming for land slide victory, NRP is still claiming that he has had many grassroots supporters, FUNCIPEC is still claiming that they are a very popular Royalist party is well known to people, and now HRP is claiming that the party is outstanding amongst the rest mentioned earlier.

All parties and all leaders always say they will win the election. It is normal because they are the politicians. They are not going to say they will lose. But deep in side they know exactly if they will win or not. Rainsy knows he will not win and Sokha knows that too. They both know if they join hands they will win. But they are so stubborn.
Stop painting others. Look after your shit! What Kem Sokha and his deputy (Pen Sovann) are better than Sam Rainsy and others is that they sacrificed their livies and comfort for the interest of naional sovereignty and human right in Cambodia. Did Sam Rainsy and Eng Chhay Eang and others dare enough to go to prison? No. More than that Eng Chhay Eang took his own man Cheam Channy to CPP and locked him up for about a year. Is it your hero? Those support SRP are opportunistic and waiting for unreachable positions!... They will never come, you are only dreaming... The election result is already known. Key members of SRP should come to realise that SRP will never win and should follow the example set by Sok Pheng, Kompong Thom MP and et al. At least they receive some benefits before becoming irrelevant.
SRP is just a pawn of the CPP. Remember what deal did Hun Sen make with Sam Rainsy during their meeting when Sam Rainsy said sorry to Hun Sen, licking Hun Sen arse for re-entry to Cambodia? Hun Sen instructed him to be his puppet to continue receiving international aides otherwise he will be squashed.
When someone comes along with better political platform and sacrifices, the SRP clowns have no constructive critics but to use inappropriate languages. It really reflects how desperate the SRP is! It knows that 2008 is their last chance. SRP will diminish completely and Sam Rainsy will packed his things and move back to France and become mental until he dies.
Kem Sokha is the real democratic leader, the people leader. He stays in the country with the people and willing to go to jail for the causes and the sake of the nation.
