Poor Vietnamese living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on February 20 received 250 gift packages, each worth US $20, from Ho Chi Minh City’s Committee on Overseas Vietnamese.

The Vietnam News Agency reported that poor Vietnamese in Boribo district, Kampong Chhnang province, and Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province will also be given gifts during the delegation’s on-going visit.

Addressing the ceremony in Phnom Penh, head of the Ho Chi Minh City ’s delegation Nguyen Thi Tho made known that the committee will continue helping overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia to maintain their national cultural identities and improve living conditions.

These Youns should be sent back to their rich and more progressive home, why are they living and being poor in Srok Khmer? Are they slowly, but mentally in the same trick as their old folks in Champa and Khmer Krom?

Why VN from Ho Chi Minh donates such gift to the poor VN living in Cambodia? There are so many poor VNamese in Vietnam, why VN officals do not help them. My conclusion, gift donated to VNamese in Cambodia serves VN's purposes, gang up to swallow Cambodia. Therefore, to all Kon Khmer, I hope that you are to watch them closely. If you have chance to take them out, do it...

i know, youn have their own poverty problems and social ill problem, why don't they help their own poor people in their own country. why make such a big deal about a pretext to help charity of illegal, poor vietnamese (youn) in cambodia as if to ask us for sympathy or something. i say, youn people, who are a copycat of other countries, who want to impress cambodia with their charity work, go clean your own house before come to clean the cambodian house. you're no better than us cambodians, in my opinions!
