An 11-member Funcinpec delegation led by Keo Puth Rasmey, the party president, visited China under an invitation for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Taking the opportunity of the visit in Beijing, the delegation also visited former monarch King Norodom Sihanouk on Sunday, the former king is currently in Beijing for health checkup. The Funcinpec delegation visit to King-Father took place at a time when Prince Thomico called on this party to stop using King-Father’s name for their election campaign during the upcoming 2008 general election. Prince Thomico said in a letter issued on Monday, that Funcinpec will lose the upcoming election and this lost will lead the public to stop having faith in Sihanoukism, the Funcinpec party’s political standing. The prince indicated that if Princess Arunrasmi, the daughter of King-Father and a candidate for the prime minister position, should stop using the name of King-Father anymore if she does not follow the political path set by King-Father.

please stop using King-Father's name for political gain or something. this is unethical and not fair for his majesty. King-Father is retired and please leave him alone. he has the right to review what is going on in cambodia, but that's about it.
remember when the KR took over cambodia in the beginning, they used King-Father's name as well to trick people to surrender to them. can't do it again, now. that was 30 or more years ago, this is now. just can not allow this to happen again. we don't want to repeat bad history!
