The second conference to boost investment and trade in the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam development triangle opened in Sihanouk Ville, Cambodia on February 16.
During the two-day conference, representatives from the three countries will review the implementation of the projects to develop the area, which were agreed at the first conference in Vietnam, and discuss measures to encourage investors of the three countries and foreign companies to pour capital into the triangle.
The Vietnamese delegation to the conference was headed by Deputy Minister of the Planning and Investment Nguyen Bich Dat.
The delegation comprised representatives from the ministries of trade and industry; agriculture and rural development; finance; labour, war invalids and social affairs, public security, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Dak Nong provinces and relevant agencies.

If the Vietcong government kept pushing Cambodia to join the Indochinese Triangle and the Khmer leaders need to say no! If the Vietcong pushed again and the Khmer leaders say no again! If the Vietcong government pushed again and for the last time the Khmer leaders need to say no and tell the fucken Vietcong government to read their lips!
Tell me who doesn’t want Cambodia to have economic benefit but if the fucken economic benefit to make the enemy stronger then it is useless for Cambodia and Cambodia must learn to say no to such misguided economic benefit! Cambodia must not welcome any enemy at the door step such the Vietcong and the Thaicong! Cambodia shouldn't be fool by all economic benefit because it can give Cambodia more problems down the road!

The word Indochina must not exists any more because we are not under thr frensh colonization.
The developement will EXIST. we need to prepare for that. Why I said that?
At VN side they already develop investing zoning, plus airport and If we don't do it on our side, we may gradually lose piece of land along the border. So, we have too.
When one country develope close to the border we need to do the same. We learn from Thai side, we lost quite a lot because we don't develope close to border. Few temples belong to Thia now.
I respect your concern about Cambodia, but I guess this is the way forward.

5:37 AM and 5:49 AM, you guys are wrong. There are other ways of developing instead of going to Viet. There is nothing beneficial to this meeting than to have Vietnamese influence and businesses be put up in border towns along Cambodia while they discard Khmer involvement. I am against anything that has to do with Vietnam and "collaborate involvement /business". It's just another way for them to gain control of more provinces.
Trade is trade, there is nothing wrong with importing and exporting so why every one seems to be so rude about it. If Cambodia has more export that will increase the GDP of country, and not only that Trade means more jobs to local people. I think these gorvenment are not that stupid to allow VN count 1 as 5, so please be realized.
I can't believe some fools in here claimed the reason that Cambodia lost more territories to the Vietcong and the Thaicong because the stupid Cambodian government failed to have economic development in those areas!
There are many reasons why Cambodia continues to lost more territories! The first reason is that AH HUN SEN government is a puppet government of the Vietcong government so in any economic developments and AH HUN SEN Vietcong puppet government will always allow the Vietcong government has the upper hand because AH HUN SEN is a fucken Vietcong slave! The second reasons AH HUN SEN Vietcong puppet government are populated with double Vietcong agents who will never understand or have the capability to understand what is Cambodian national interest or Cambodian sovereignty and all the fucken Vietcong slave Cambodian army are instructed by AH HUN SEN to protect only the economic interest of high corrupted AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave officials! But AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave has the option to send thousand and thousand of well equipment Cambodian army along the fucken border but he chose not to because most of his armies and polices are too busy harassing the opposition party to block the vote and dirt poor Cambodian people off their land and give those lands to big corrupted businesses!
Since AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave mother fucker came to power in 1979 and he never respect or protect Cambodian sovereignty and if Cambodia faced border disagreement from the Thaicong or the Vietcong and he will negotiate through signing some kind of treaties to have the Vietcong or the Thaicong what they want from Cambodia! Please do not underestimate AH HUN SEN will power because he is willing to destroy Cambodian constitution and the Paris Agreement just to please the Thaicong or the Vietcong as long as he can remain in power for many more years to come!
