Hun Sen Again Chastised Yash Ghai

Prime Minister Hun Sen has again publicly chastised the UN human rights envoy to Cambodia, Mr. Yash Ghai, who in the past has strongly criticised the Cambodian government for its human rights records.

In a speech during a meeting on Thursday Mr. Hun Sen has reiterated that all the issues that the UN envoy had raised about Cambodia are all happening in his own country and that Mr. Yash Ghai should solve the problems of human right violations in his native country rather than giving advice to Cambodia.

The prime minister said: “Please look! In Mr. Yash Ghai’s country, it is full of problems but he still preach to us. There are all sorts of problems in his native Kenya but he still preach to us on human rights. Now the bad Karma had spread very quickly. We all pray that the crisis in Kenya would end but it does not matter how hard everybody pray, it still didn’t end. The killings still continue, including the burning of people alive. It is his problems and he compared Cambodia’s issues to those problems. I don’t pray that his country suffers Karmic misfortunes but it is best that he go to solve the crisis in Kenya instead.”

what an idiot!! Yash Ghai was assign to be UN envoy in Cambodia. Of cause he is to look at issues in Cambodia!!!kenya is maybe his problem too but an assignment is an assignment. and by the way Kofi Annan is helping to resolve the problem right now in Kenya.
excuse my language! PHD Monkey mother fucker dont really know what he is talking about!! look at him!! sicking tooo much milk??????

Annan is helping to resolve problem in Kenya? Wouldn't a native Kenyan like Ghai be move effective to suggest real solution to the problem.

The truth is the Dog (Ghai) should be more practical and more understanding about problem in Cambodia because his country have similar problem, but that wasn't the case.

Ghai is not Kenya's prime minister. Good leader should learn from good speech and action of others.

But stupid leader has ignorantly lambasted others regardless of age, education, good intention, and race...etc

How long Cambodia still have such stupid leader like this.

I do hope Cambodian younger generation will not imitate from this stupidity.

You don't have to be PM to understand the problem in your own country.

Look, if I was in the dog's (Ghai's) shoes and I was assigned to Kenya, I would never ever started to bark at the Kenyan's government. I would approached them with more understanding of the issue at hand. I would mention how mess-up Cambodia was and some of the things that we used to factually solved the problem ... .

The problem with the Dog (Ghai) is not so much in his knowledge, but inter-relationship with people and other culture. Everything would have been fine, had he just learn a little bit more about us instead of making stupid assumption.

folks,
Ghai is not a human rights envoy to Kenya so the problems there are not is resposiblity. it is not within his scope and jurisdiction to solve the problems there. he has to do a job where he is assigned and paid to do. Kofi Annan is doing the job there now. look, what happened in Kenya was very bad, people were killed and in one church, some people were burnt to death when the church was set alight. but the difference to Cambodia is that only the ordinary people were fighting but the leaders were still talking and negotiating peacefully. In Cambodia, if things happened like in Kenya, Rainsy, Ranariddh, Kem Sokha and other Hun Sen's opponents, including from civil society, would have been assassinated or in jails. Human rights have been violated and violated blatantly by the Cambodian authoriy. Hun Sen should just order an investigation rather than deny it and chastised Ghai the way he had done. the way hun sen responded to human right violations and allegations would just give cambodia a bad nam.

On behalf of ordinary Cambodian citizen, I am grateful to Yash Ghai who has made some attitude change of Cambodian leaders regarding to land grabbing, social threatening, unjust court, and the situation of fear likely has been decreased.

Ghai is our model who stands up to voice our righteousness to those dictator...he is very courageous!

Ghai didn't only work to correct Cambodian government, he also helped tremendously in his native land, Kenya. But the outcomes are depending on the leaders who are known as the peoples' servant, not the peoples' dictator.

Peoples' servant leadership has value all criticisms regardless of who they are.

But for a dictator and ignorant leaders, including their stupid supporters are happy with dictator attitude.

Dear All;
1st let congratulate the Kenya people and also pray for them that the current agreement between the President and opposition signed on power sharing [President will remain in his current post, opposition leader will be taking the post of new created PM and 1/3 or 1/2 of the cabinet will be shared between them], which broke by Kofi Annan, be there forever.

Now let get back to the tone of voice by the world leaders [might be tough, harsh, critical, medium or diplomat or defensive or offensive as one may interpret].

It is common to hear such a term voiced by the world leader.

For instant, when the Iranian President used his strong comment about "Wiping the Israeli from world map" and in his personal opinion is not offensive by rather angry about the Palestine and Israeli conflict but was interpreted by the USA as offensive and has been classified by USA as "Axis of Evil".

When USA decided to go after Osama Bin Laden in Afghan [after September 11], Bush got the mandate fom UN security council. However, when USA invaded Iraq, there is no such thing as mandate from UN, but simply he believed that Suddam was a group of "Axis of evil", who had used mustard gas against his people [the Kurdish] and had MWD. Even North Korea was once classified by the USA as "Axis of Evil" [since 6 parties round table talk "China, USA, Japan, N and South Korea and UN, N.Korea is no longer on such USA list. Last week saw the famous American Orchestra performance in the N.Korean capital for the 1st time]

Bush at that time, told or gave ultimatum to the then UN secretary general Kofi Anna "Get your people out from Iraq, we [USA and allies] will start bombing campaign there.

During the questions by congress Bush administration and himself always defend their policy on Iraq invasion until now but the cause of invasion has changed courses many times - 1st "WDM", 2nd "War on terrorist" 3rd "War on terror".

So far, after 5 or 6 years in Iraq, there has never been a single WDM discovered in Iraq except those suicide bombers who blown up, took their own lives and innocent Iraqi men, women and children and US service men and women.

The ally such as Britain started to withdraw their combat troops and Australia will follow suit, leaving the war there for USA to handle until their withdrawal of number of service men and women sometimes this year.

Does Bush term of language change at all. The answer is "NO".

If one has change to ask Bush himself about the USA invasion of Iraq, believed that Bush will say to you in the same manner.

Not saying that Cambodia PM right or wrong for using such a term on UN envoy, however, this is a normal string of reaction by any world leaders toward what they interpret and think about the critic[s].

Politics is not about negotiating or face to face talking....

Politics is about the mass media! Yash Ghai has done great job with the mass media throughout the world.

Well then, why did the dog (Ghai) begging to see our official?

Anonymous said...

PS: Oh, and I remembered the dog (Ghai) was also forced to resign from a project by his own (Kenyan) government when he oversee the rewritten of the Kenyan's Constitution where he failed flat in his face. You should be able to Google the Dog name and "resignation" quite easily for this.

Normally, people like that would have been asked to step out, but the corrupted UN is not normal.

Anonymous said...

why the corrupted hun sen didn't step down? he failed and failed miserably many times before. Ghai is a courageous man who dared to stand up to a ruthless dictator. cambodia would be a better place if we have many like him.

Yes, that is the truth to experiment that can dictator meet with the UN envoy or not?

No, the CPP is the most flexible party of all. We talk and compromise with all rational parties, organizations or individual, but we won't talk or negotiate with dog, terrorist, or gorilla, as simple as that. Get it?

You fucking retarded gorilla!
You need to first solve your own backyard problems, Kenya, before solving problems (if any)in Cambodia. We do not need your ass here in our pure soil.

Why are you so fucking retarded?

Your brain cells have a major Damned-bao (your breathless spouse).

If you're supporting this son-of-bitch (native of Kenya), my suggestion to these gorillas is to take vaction to Kenya (not Cambodia). Then you can tell us about your vacation in Kenya (in terms of safety).

Again, we say: clean your own backyard first before (thinking) cleaning our backyards.

You gorillas are God damn embarrassed son-of-bitches on the face of the earth. That goes to the rest of you fucking gorilla bastards.

Anonymous said...

No, I ain't supporting no gorilla fucker, 4:53. you must misread my post. I said 10:30 (but meant 10:20 due to typo) has low density neurons, not you.

Vacation in Kenya? I rather God sentence me to burn in hell.

That's all right, brother!

I hate that disrespectful fucking piece of dog shit ah Hun Sen. You can tell how low of a life-form he is from his speeches. If only our neighbors just dropped dead (especially Vietnam) life would be so much better.

Well, there is no proof whatsoever that suggest you have to have gorilla education in order to be smart.

You and your pack, for example, are a total disappointment.
