Hun Sen's victory speech premature

Election Group: Victory Speech Premature

By Sok Khemara, VOA Khmer
Original report from Washington
03 March 2008

A democracy group said Friday a speech made by Prime Minister Hun Sen announcing ruling party victories in July's national polls marked typical electioneering and should not deter Cambodians from voting their conscience.

Hun Sen said Thursday the Cambodian People's Party was bound to win this year's national elections.

The outcome is ultimately up to voters, said Lee Sothearayuth, a program officer for the National Democratic Institute.

"It's not any individual, activist or politician who can define their fate, but only voters who can," he said.

At least one election monitor said the speeches could lead to suspicion of vote-tampering during the parliamentary polls.

Hun Sen's victory speach premature?

I don't think so since he's the one that controls the outcome of the votes. No vote is necessary. He'll win everytime. It's a given.

When can this man, his regime and his CPP people realize that Cambodia is in the brink of becoming Vietnamese
slave? why he keeps opening his stinky mouth to frighten poor Cambodians? OK, I think he is afraid that if he loses the upcoming election, he and his family will be decapitated by poor Cambodian people and their remains will be sacked then sent to Hanoi's funeral home.

It is a heads-up message from Hun Sen to all its subordinates and the NEC to work its tricks toward the CPP wishful result for the election. It is only he does this kind of public declaration that it will reach everyone of its the subordinates and cleverly plenty of time.

Politically it is not a wise move say such a thing before the national election, but it makes a lot of sense when you have the intent to cheat and rig.

Lightning will striked those who do not vote CPP.

Dear Sok Khemara [VOA Washington]

A democracy group said Friday a speech made by Prime Minister Hun Sen announcing ruling party victories in July's national polls marked typical electioneering and should not deter Cambodians from voting their conscience.

Paragraph below are extract from article posted on KI [February 08]

Kem Sokha, HRP president, who boasted that his party will win the upcoming election, said that only the HRP is the strong challenger to the CPP. He told The Cambodia that his closest rival are not Prince Ranariddh nor Sam Rainsy, but that it is prime minister Hun Sen. Kem Sokha hopes that in the upcoming general election, the HRP will beat the CPP and he will become the prime minister.

"Aiming For Government". SR during his visit to Australia last month.

Can't you see that each individual leader of the three political parties have thing in "Common" - declaring winner of 2008 election.

100% agreed with you on "should not deter Cambodians from voting their conscience" and Lee Sotherearayuth "The outcome is ultimately up to voters".

Wrong, it is not a sin to be VN slave, but it is a sin to betray leader who liberated us from evil. I guarantee it.

My beloved 7:51AM!

Ya assertively meant that it is a sin to betray an evil leader who liberated us from evil. Frankly speaking, I can't literally blame ya, because ya don't acknowledgeably know much about or have the great opportunity to learn the history of Khmer Rouge. Evidently, that's the reason why CPP permantly won't allow the children of Khmer academically learn the truths!

Anonymous said...

Well then, tell us what knowledge have our children missed out about the evil Khmer Rouge?

I am ready whenever you are. Let it rip, bro!

You're right, and now it's time to change for a better than this. Academically, Hun San must be out of sight, thanks for what you said; Khmer Rouge time was out by CPP and CPP must be out by academically, and democatically.

There may be a revolution to remove Hun Sen, or he'd in power for life.

I stand that gorilla education is better then dogie education. I hear Hun Sen and his supporters eat shit for practice.

My beloved 10:06AM!

I am not absolutely sure that you are growing up in Srok Khmer or oversea, If you were in Srok Khmer, you would acknowledgeably know much better than me, because the Khmer educational system unreasonably and manifestly not allow the children of Khmer learning the Killingfield history. Why Youn and CPP intentionally won't allow? Is there any mystery behind Youn and CPP?

You delightfully or mockeringly asked me to tell you what knowledges have our children of Khmer missed out about the evil Khmer Rouge? Hun Sen and CPP are also former Khmer Rouges, therefore, evil rescues a victim from the other evil. Let me simply clarify about what you have confidently said that Hun Sen is the one of the leaders who was liberate us, ironically according to my dull acknowledgement, Heng Samrin and Pen Savann were the leaders of assassination who unintentionally failed to assassin Pol Pot twice. More importantly, who was behind these assassinations? After these attemptions had fail, the hundred thousand Eastern people sent to death mostly at Pursat and Battambang provinces.

Hun Sen always repeatedly yells insanely as a savage man, that Jan. 7, 1979 was liberated day which heavenly and blessfully saved all Khmer lives, but the absolute truth is perhaps more than half million deaths of innocent Khmers in the end of 79's.

12:30, I don't understand what are you saying? I lived in the field, I cultivated it. I build huts, canals, ... and what have we. What do you want me to teach my kid? Let me have it strait.

Do you want to tell them how they got me into it?

Do you want me to teach my kid what I was doing (cultivating land, hut, canal...)?

Do you want to teach them about the Policy?

Do you want me to teach them about how KR got power or how LonNol fell?

Do you want me to teach them about Sihanouk coupe?

Tell me specifically what my kid and other should know.

Our school did teach our kid something about the civil war, but whether it concurs with what you have in mind, that is a question. Do you know what I mean?

Anonymous said...

My beloved 12:55AM!

I really don't know that I am the one who is mentally lost or yours? Your children and you are learning about the civil war? could you please clarify? Which one? Nol Lon's or CPP's civil?

Please allow me to ask a simple question once again, why Youn and CPP won't allow the children of Khmer learning about the history of Pol Pot's regime?

Anonymous said...

fuck you Ah Young Youn Hun Xen!!!!Slow down with you Ah Kvang Hun Xen!!!

Ah Chhkai Youn !!!!

Anonymous said...

1:15, we do teach our kids all of our history as we did during the last few administrations, despite the Civil War has not formally become an official history yet. The event must incubated and analyzed by unbiased historians first before it can be an official history.

I am really not clear as to what you are looking for? Perhaps, if you were to give these kids exam, what would some of your question be? Let's us see if they can passed your test or not, fair?

Anonymous said...

Even I know that the party I like will get only one vote, I will still vote for it.

Anonymous said...

Yes do that for the CPP because every vote count, but don't do it for the loser SRP.

Anonymous said...

My beloved 7:33AM!
Why CPP and Youn have intentionally kept out the history of Pol Pot's regime so long, 28 years? Since you are not desirable to answer my simple question, the children of Khmer will eventually have the great opportunity to learn about the horrible event of Killingfield, when CPP will be finally lost their ultimate power!

Anonymous said...

My beloved friend!

You have consciously kept me running as circle, therefore I am still patiently getting old. Now, I just foolishly ask you a few questions, since you are scholarly claiming to teach the children of Khmer.

Why did the history of the Pol Pot's regime perish? Why did those of the history before and after survive in Khmer educational systmem? Was it because the stories were more true about CPP's and Youn's trickery? Or was there something about what these histories that was so offensive and perhaps even dangerous to CPP's and Youn's reputation that must had to be effectively destroyed!
