Since 26 February, the National Election Committee (NEC) had set up an information website about the upcoming July general election (www.voterlist.org.kh). Voters can verify that they are indeed registered on the voters lists. Tep Nitha, NEC secretary-general indicated that, if problems are encountered, voters can call either one of the following phone numbers:
  • 011 78 77 66
  • 092 79 77 66
  • 017 46 77 66
  • 015 86 77 66
Based on the NEC data, 8,124,092 voters will be voting on 27 July, including 4,347,236 women (53.5%). In 2003, during the last general election, a first website was made available to the public (www.necelect.org.kh). This website provides information in Khmer and in English, in particular, press releases and various laws regarding political aspects in the kingdom.

the website is not working at all!!!!!! it has got nothing except the menu bar. i cant even do the rearach at all. I dont know who the heck can read the Khmer fonts there, they are way too small to read. This is just empty gesture without any substance. With this website, it shows NEC is alreaady a liar and cheater !!!

In order to gain its reputation, NEC has tried to make more things to access to the public not only these websites.

But in reality, NEC is the effective machine for CPP to win all elections and legitimize their dictatorship power.
