By checking out local Cambodian market AH Samak Sundaravej can find how the state of Cambodian economy and find out what dirt poor Cambodian people can afford and not only that he find out how many different kinds of Thaicong flood Cambodian market or any other foreign products such the Vietcong and China competing with the Thaicong products!

If AH Samak Sundaravej found out that 90% of the products in local Cambodian Market came from Thailame and this is the golden opportunity that he is looking for to put more pressure on the issue of Khmer Phrea Vihear temple on stupid Cambodian leaders!

The Thaicong had been twisting the Khmer Phrea Vihear issue into border issue and economic issue such tourism development of the Khmer Phrea Vihear temple with them!

I don't give a fuck about Thaicong economic issue or the border issue because this whole issue of Khmer Phrea Vihear temple deals with Cambodian sovereignty!

Any negotiation aim to violate Cambodian sovereignty will not promote peace and stability and will lead to more animosity and hostility!

Darned 11:14, shut the fuck up, will ya?

I knew it. This PM is a very down to earth guy. No PM will have that type of curiosity and takes the time to learn thing with his own eye. I tell you: He's one of our true brother. It is our ancestor's spirit that guide him to go out and see his own blood.

i seemed like a down-to-earth type of guy. i hate to admit it, but i, too, a khmer man, love to visit the local cambodian markets myself without any family's interference. that's just what i love to do, sort of like excursion. i love the atmosphere, the sight and sound and smell, etc. i guess not everybody likes to do that, but i do as well. so, i don't think there's anything strange about a guy visiting the local, asian market.

True, but I have not seen many PM, Kings, or Queens from various countries over the decades who visited here visited our market alone. They usually escorted by some of our officials.

In any case, we don't always analyze thing from a logical way. We preferred to look at think from a spiritual way. And if you can do that, you will concurred with my finding.

the way i see it is all in the attitude, my friends. in cambodia, it's almost a taboo for a man or a woman of elite status to step foot in the local, marketplace. for once, they have maids to do for them and they feel no need to do, plus, to them at least, they think it is dirty and indignified to do so. well, again, in khmer society it is all in the attitude. however, i think, in the 21st century, computer age, it would serve a leader well to mingle with the population, whether marketplace or what have you, to meet the general people, as i have no doubt that khmer people would love to see their leaders visit them and shake hands and talk with them at work place or market place is a good idea, if you ask me. it make him or her a likable person even more by the people by doing this. khmer people love a leader like this. and it is ok to bring body guard/secret service or escort along as a protocol for any leader in the world. something to think about, guys!! i say, don't stay confined too much, exposing oneself to the public is a good thing for a good political candidate.
