Two women leaders urged more women in Cambodia to be brave in politics, pointing to US presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton as an example.

Pok Nanda, director of the Organization for Women's Prosperity, and Thida Khus, head of the development group Silaka, both train women across Cambodia and promote leadership.

They joined "Hello VOA" Monday to discuss women in politics, including Clinton, who is in the Democratic primary race against Sen. Barrack Obama.

"She has the full ability to be a presidential candidate," Pok Nanda said.

"She will beat Obama," Thida Khus said.

Such political developments in Cambodia may still be far off.

Hundreds of thousands of women work jobs at garment factories, which is detrimental to their education, which was "the burden of the government" to rectify, Pok Nanda said.

More women need to be added to the National Assembly, Thida Kus added, in order to help decide national policy and other important decisions.

Clinton may have the experience as the former 1st lady when Mr. Clinton as President but could not compare with the former British PM - the Iron Lady Margaret Tachers.

She will beat Obama," Thida Khus said.

The race for the candidacy is yet from over [Obama won 11 consecutive places and lose the last 2 to Clinton].

All women should be encouraged to participate in politic.

Looking at Mrs. Clinton picture, can anyone give us an update on Obama. He seems like a sharp, dude.

Obama leads Clinton among pledged delegates, 1,368-1,226 in the Associated Press' count, while the former first lady has an advantage among superdelegates, 247-211.

Thanks mate (5:15), eventhough I don't know all of the terminology used here but those numbers show very close call.

They are both very sharp people, but I am in favor to see Obama get nominate for presidential candidate, despite he may end up misjudge us. He's just such a brilliant person.

hello! i think obama would have no chance if it weren't for hilary clinton running against him. i think he took advantage of the first woman running for office as he is the first black candidate (a minority). so i think he should thank hilary if he were to win, which i doubt as there is still a long way to go! again, this is just my opinion about this!

I don't understand, 3:24? How did Obama took advantage of Mrs. Clinton?

4:56, i guess to understand this, just pretend if hilary did not run for this presidential candidate against obama. instead, another while male person took her place instead, obama would have no chance against another male. so because it is first woman and first black candidate to run for office, this is where obama (in my opinion)took the opportunity to run against hilary clinton (it's like first black person against first woman person). because of this scenerio, for those people who still look down on women may vote for obama instead. however, i hope senator hilary clinton would win, though because she has more experience than obama is. again, this is just my perspective of obama and hilary.

I am lost, 10:00. Help me understand a bit more, will ya? It sounds like you say Obama ability cannot challenging anyone beyond Mrs. Clinton. If so, who is beyond Mrs. Clinton at this moment, and why he's throwing in the towel? Is there a catch that we missed?

BTW, here's a clip from a debate on youtube.com.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=MD9F1t9GQzA

And you can tell from the clip that they both equally gifted people.

In any case, let's look at fact or most probable fact because I may have assume too many things here: Obama have to work much harder than Mrs Clinton to get to were he standing in the debate because I think being African-American, he had the least resources of the two. According, he had more energy of the two. Otherwise, it is impossible for him to be in the debate. Am I on the right track? If so then you must pick the strongest of the two for the good of the country, that is the one with the most energy.
