In order to prevent a disorderly price increase of merchandises, Kep Chultema, the governor of Phnom Penh, ordered the city district and commune authorities, and in particular, the committee in each market, to broadcast a new measure whereby the merchants in all shops and stalls in the markets must clearly post the price of their merchandise. Shops and stalls which do not abide by this order will be shut down immediately. Kep Chuktema also ordered the economic police to visit each market and review any merchandise that sustain drastic change, the police must take immediate measure to deal with dishonest merchants who stock goods to sell at a higher price. Those who instigate the rising price of rice and other goods will be arrested and dealt with by the law.

That's what I call action and Caring People Party (CPP)!
Smart move - now will the government do the same for its own fees and charges, so people pay the right price?
yes, i really like this concept. prices of merchandises and everything else in a store or supermarket should have price tags on all of them so people don't have ask about it like supermarkets in the west. i, personally, am hate to ask how much something is when to make it easy, sellers should just as well label their prices. it could make live a little easier. this is a good start of thing that someone is thinking about it. also, by labeling the merchandises with price tags, this will prevent price gourging as well, meaning buyers or consumers can't be cheated with prices. thank you and great idea to have cambodia's markets do this like in the western countries.
