These Lon Nol, Lonnolians owed me everything: high position, honor, fortune. And the intellectuals, teachers, students who were “anti-Sihanouk at 500%” owed me for their high salaries (for the teachers) and their instruction (pupils, high school students, students thanks to the numerous schools, middle schools, high schools, (higher education) schools, universities, SRN institutes, and (thanks to) SRN and Royal Palace scholarships for studies and internships in Dalat, in France and in other European countries, in the USA, etc…). Starting from 19 March 1970 and up to 1975, prior to the Khmer Rouge victory, these people never hesitated to insult me, to unfairly drag me into the mud.

As a great Buddhist devotee, our August Great and Valorous King should know that the three root causes of evil(akusala-mūla)and, indeed, his "greatest suffering", are greed (lobha), hatred or anger (dosa) and delusion or ignorance (moha).

It sounds disturbing and outrageous. I think you as a former king who did everything wrong when starting into politic. If we look at Buddhism law, you could not reincarnate to be human again because you are responsible for a million life. If there was not you who created Khmer Rouge, there would have no Hun Sen group. It seems that you are appreciating your former enemy who never stop insult you and your family. More than that they never consider Royal seriously.
I think former king is mentally ill since he was on the throne.

Everyone who had lived through, appreciates Sangkum Reasr Niyum for the progresses made by former civilised ranking officers who had committed to achieve national goals. The obstacles of not having it lasted, I rather see that we had insufficient policies enforced to make it worked. We can't really rely on trust, hoping everyone have clean conciense.
We ought to remind ourselve as a lesson learnt, rather than blaming any groups against Sangkum Reasr Niyum.It is sad for having not lasted, but preferrably focus ourselve for what we are facing. Justice is not only applied to Your Highness, however poor cambodians would need the most.
Individual sacrfice of those heroes for national survival are always praised and remembered. And it is time to let go our ego and our sad past, for constructive planning to ensure our sovereign and true independence. Sangkum Reasr Niyum can always come back when we take a close look of who we are, and we are.
May I take this opportunity to ask we all to apply ourselve to Buddhism, rather than simply known buddhists. when we practice ourselve applied Buddishm, with SILAS or ETHICS,we will then see our true values than using Buddhism.
So please treat other like treating yourself, like old saying"pointing one finger to other, infact three fingers are pointing to oneself".

I think this former king has mental problem already. He should be consulted with good spychologist so that he can sleep and can relieve from daytime dreaming. At present, he must have been haunted by ghosts of the death people who are around him and keep asking him for their lives. These problems can be very serious if he still be a king( Has power). He may ordered the military to enforce everyone out from the cities again like in 1975. Luckily that now he cannot order the army. Sihanouk owe and owed a lot to an ordinary Khmer.With his alliance to the Vietcong had brought all Khmer to the ground.
