1- During the SRN era, pupils, middle school students, high school students (boys and girls) adored me as if I was a God.
2- The day after Lon Nol’s Putsch (18 March 1970), these same pupils, middle school students, high school students (boys and girls) started to insult me with a never heard of meanness.
3- One of the insults which hurts me very, very much up until now (May 2008) is the following: “We got rid of Sihanouk, why our Republican-Lonnolian regime is not able to get rid of the Sihanoukian corruption? Nowadays, this corruption is even worst than under Sihanouk.”
I hate to the maximum all forms of Injustice.
The Lonnolians deposed me because, among other things, I fought against corruption without compromise.
I thought that our school and university youth loved Justice. Now, following the “success” of the Putsch by the extremely-corrupt Lonnolians, this youth became “blind”: it pretended to “believe” that “Sihanouk was the Corruption” and that the Lonnolians got rid of the “Sihanouk-Corruption.” And at the height of this “blindness,” this youth had the audacity to say: “We got rid of Sihanouk. Instead of leaving with Sihanouk, the Corruption remained in our country and it (corruption) becomes even worst.” The truth is that the Lonnolians and Sirikmatakians deposed me so that their Corruption became boundless. I did everything possible to limit this Corruption from happening in our country.

Sihanouk ! let's me remind you or just refresh your memories .
The only reason that khmer people kicked you out is because you, sihanouk ,you guided your country to the wrong path .Cambodia was a kingdom and we are buddhist and why on earth You decided to ally yourself with the communist while the free world led by the UNITED STATES tried to curb communist's influences into the rest of South East Asia.You allowed vietcong's santuaries in our soil so that they can launch an attack on a souvereigh state (south vietnam) and in the meantime you were declaring neutrality.You cooprerated fully with the communist not fully aware that your action was so dangerous to our survival as khmer .You were used by foreign powers namely the CHINESES.
Sihanouk ,sihanouk,sihanouk why don't you reflect on your past wrong policies and recognize your wrong doings instead of blaming others for kicking you out . you were gamble with our lives.
In all corruption was not the reason to get rid of you.And now you said ; the present regime is corruped and even worse and it's true but if HUNSEN heard about it ,it will be sure he will kick you out again this time for good.You lose.

Sihanouk should read some history books, John Tully, for instance. Corruption was rampant in his time just as it is now.
