Administrative Court orders injuction on Thai govt's approval of Preah Vihear Temple

The Administrative Court ordered Thai government and the foreign ministry on Saturday to suspend all moves concerning the country's support to Cambodia's bid to list Preah Vihear temple as Unesco Heritage Site.

The order puts injunction on the Thai cabinet's resolution which approved Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama to sign a joint declaration with Cambodia concerning the temple.

The order then has effect on the joint declaration the minister already signed with Cambodia, which expressed "active support" for Cambodia's proposal to list the temple as the Heritage site.

Cambodia is scheduled to attach the declaration to its proposal to be presented to Unesco World Heritage meeting in Canada early next month.

The decision came after People's Alliance for Democracy asked the court last week.

Cambodian Government should use the international court decision on Preah Vihear to register with Unesco alone and shouldn't bother to talk to thailand at all because there is nothing to do with Thailand and it is not a business of Thailand. But if Cambodian Government wants to register all Cambodian temples inside Thailand present land such as in Ayuthia, then Cambodian need to have join declaration with Thailand because our former temples have been stolen by Thailand invasion. I agree with our friend @ 11:30 AM. However, there were more dirty politics between Hun & Thaksin -- it was a deal made "investment in Koh Kong and Siam Reap".

Not true, no court like to come between any dispute. They often encourage litigators to settle it on their own. Furthermore, Khmer should never suit Khmer. This is a bit like suiting your brother, sister, mother, or father, which is highly immoral.

Nope, Siam have been doing business in the region even before the word "Khmer" was invented. The problem is Khmer people (or rather Khmer's King) don't want to live under one roof, so they splitted and they each asked the French, Siam, Lao, and Yuon to be their protectorate. So stop changing fact here.

The problem is overlapping land. We both use difference map and scale. Please open your mind. Nobody wants to loss their land.

King Mongkut ceded and signed by giving back provinces he took to Khmers, and Preah Vihear also gave back after Thai lost the case in court. Why blamed French blamed your stupid King who stoled the land and Preah Vihear from Khmers.

You lost the case in court. Get over it.

Khmers lost case in court by the same French who gave Big Island (Koh Trol) to Youn, and why don't these Khmers protest against Youn theives?

If you want to know who goes with African Zimbawe, ask the oldest daughter of your King in Thailand.
