Cambodia´s prime minister has given an Australian developer permission to build a $35 million luxury resort on two islands in the south of the country.
Brocon has received final approval to build two resorts on Koh Oeun and Koh Bong, 30 km off the coast of Cambodia in the Gulf of Thailand. The company has been waiting for consent from Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Council for the Development of Cambodia since July 2007.
The resorts will include 25 self-contained suites, three privately owned villas, a spa, wine cellar, gym and yoga retreat, and will meet rigorous environmental standards.
The expected completion date is 2010.

Ah Hun Sen and his families and his CPP keeping rob its own country for billions dollars. Is that call: Save Cambodia from communist?.
This is the most low education prime minister in the whole world, he completed only third grade, no wonder the country go down hill.
put the rule of laws in place and there is nothing to worry about losing cambodia to foreigners. actually, it may even be a blessing in disguise for cambodia to have multi-national joint force to create a strong, vibrant cambodia market or economy where everyone respect the cambodian laws and help to enforce those laws and plus it is in the interest of cambodia to gain more more and experts and know-hows, especially when we look at it as a long-term investment for the future of cambodia. people should assimiliate into cambodia to help cambodia. i don't think cambodia is selling our country out, it is trying to invite and attract more big businesses into cambodia so in the future cambodia will be well taking care of. so, stop being like the idiot KR and the idiot thai democratic party, etc... who are too narrow-mindedness to even think of the long-term benefit for cambodia. remember the so-called khmer proverb: tok tok penh ompoung, meaning everything in life takes time, liking growing up takes times. same idea, here. god bless cambodia.
