Korea will help Cambodia replant the forests stripped bare around its ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen requested Korea's help in restoring denuded woodlands on Tuesday during Korea Forest Service Minister Hah Young-je's visit to the Southeast Asian country.
The Cambodian leader also urged Korea's investment in his country's rubber-tree plantations and wood pulp production. The two officials signed an MOU to this end and agreed to co-host a forestry cooperation meeting every two years.

CCP Imperial Oil Ltd.,...
You get the idea. Planting trees or rubber trees is not rocket science.

Hen Sen if you want high-tech investment why do you make happen yourself, other countries what they want is Cambodia natural resources. There are plenty of super bright (I'm not talking about average guy; these guy work for Nasa, Boeing...)Cambodians abroad working in electronics, software, mechanics, civil engineer...
Why don't you call them back, so Cambodia could make a giant leap.
If you wait after Japan, Korea or Malaysia... to bring you high-tech investment I think you gonna wait for a long time.

Agreed. However, they should plant those trees where the land is unfit for agriculture because we have plan to be one of the world rice exporters in the near future, and we're going to need good lands for that.

Hey, we can do it if we got the time, but we are up to our eye balls with commitments to bring Cambodia into the 21st century, in case you don't know.
I believe the cold war Nuclear issue will not going forever,The South korean and Nouth korean I wish one day they will decide what's good for their people for their future.Because the world is changing and climate is changing too.This is my point of veiw,I am just a simple khmer person,May god bless South Korean and North krean.

Planting tree is not a rocket sciences, but getting it done right and sustainble needs wisdom and knewledge. Want to correct mistake with another mistake! Come one!
Rocket science maybe simpler than agricuture science. In agriculture, interactions between all the elements in the nature are far greater than in building and launching rocket. If rocket fails, destruction is not great.
But in agriculture and forestry the mistake is far reaching. mistakes had been repeatly done in US, Canada, South America etc.
Do not make the same mistake.
On the other hand, think also about feeding starving people, think about crop for food. Big part of People are undernourished. They should get their share of food in their plate also.
These people do not need rubber sap nor wood pulp. They need rice, beans, milk, fish, meat...
Enough is enough.
People perish for lack of knewledge.
Seek wisdom, not money. For wisdom will lead to knewlege and life.
