Respected Bhantes,
Compatriots, Press,
Ladies & Gentlemen,

Enclosure is a Khmer language request of KKC to King Norodom Sihamoni to raise 5 issues with host Vietnamese Leaders on His Majesty's second State visit to Vietnam this week for 3-day.

Unofficial translation
Source: Khmer Kampuchea Krom Community
On the web at http://khmerkromngo.org/

1- Release 5 Khmer Buddhist monks from prison, who were arrested for practicing their religious beliefs:
  • A. The Venerable Buddhist Monk Kim Moeun, 4-year sentenced on May 10, 2007
  • B. The Venerable Buddhist Monk Danh To, 4-year sentenced on May 10, 2007
  • C. The Venerable Buddhist Monk Ly Thoeung, 2-year sentenced on May 10, 2007
  • D. The Venerable Buddhist Monk Thach Thoeung, 2-year sentenced on May 10, 2007
  • E. The Venerable Buddhist Monk Ly Vang, 2-year sentenced on May 10, 2007
2- Release abbot Indapanna Tim Sakhorn, who has been imprisoned in Military Region 9 prison on June 30, 2007 for an alleged illegal entry into Vietnam.

3- Allow Khmers in Vietnam (Kampuchea Krom) to practice their culture freely. For example, Khmers in provinces of Khleang, Pol Leav, and Tuk Khmau VN authorities allow to organize Kathina ceremony for just one day that contradicts the 30-day of Buddhist religion.

4- For goodwill and good relations between Cambodia-Vietnam, the party of Vietnam re-opens the Buddhist Institute in Khleang province to allow Khmers to practice their own religious beliefs.

5- Allows the visiting King Norodom Sihamoni to visit the regions, where Khmers reside in person.

Thank you.

KKC

As a Khmer I feel for my Khmers including all KK, but to read this, I am wondering are KK important anymore?

4:11PM. If you are KK, I think you at least half Youn. Your mind is Youn, the damned ugly Youn. I don't think forcing Khmer King for his first visit in srok Youn for ah half Youn important anymore.

Don't you at least learn Psychology101?

I won't drop a tear if all ah Youn_Khmer die.

To 9:15PM

Hey fucker! Your kind of Khmer is no less important than the Khmer Krom people in the eye of the Vietcong leaders! You are to be oppressed and to make as Vietcong slave like AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave mother fucker!

You don't even understand the concept of being a King! To be a King is to be love by all his people, to protect his people, and to have compassion for his people!

Just remember without Khmer people and there would be no Khmer King!

You can die in hell and nobody would cry for you too!

Mate 7:15 AM. I tell you that Khmer Krom cause too many troubles to us in Cambodia. We are trying to survive but these Youn claimed to have Khmer blood know one thing is insulting our King. They think our King went to Srok Youn then our King has to order ah kantop to release Khmer krom monk right away?
What are these Youn-Khmer fuckers talking about?

Better know that we know a lot of fake Khmer Krom and some of them are opportunists.

I don't think it is nothing wrong for the KIng to ask his new friend Youn PM to release KK Monk, but it is a very sensitive issue and HM first visit, the King has to be very careful. If Ah Youn knows that Khmer King just comes to release his Kaun Chao, then what will happen to our small country just rose from hell?

KK have to do more than that not just whenever they get angry they curse the Kings then whenever they want something they order the King to do what they want.

Another factor KK have to be careful that inside their group there may be faker KK (created by Youn) to harm their movement.

From what the world see, there are fake KK created by Youn and there are fake KK who are opportunists like someone said.

Let friendship goes a little smooth. I am sure Youn already knew our King wants to ask them to release KK Monks, but to be sure KK Monks didn't involve politics such as to overthrow Youn gov't from South. Youn are too paranoid and they arrest everyone including their own Youn.

Real KK people have to work hard and keep a good relationship with the King without stain and proceed.

KK people have to tacle the right time, and this one is not the right time to ask the King during his first visit. HM may can but depends on how the issues can be allowed to be brought up during the discussion. Sometime they go by the protocols and may not have enough time. The experts who organized it they are extremely careful and be sure they don't let any little second pass, they have schedule and the King or Youn Leader have to obey the protocols.
They both can say or agree whatever said in the papers from each party.

Being leaders are not easy like dictatorship nations such as in Burma. Even Hun Sen he has been rehearsed and told to say whatever said in the papers.

I think KK people should continue their good relationship with the King of Cambodia and do not feel disappointed in the first try.
