There are Cambodians most politicians of another nations understood King Sihanouk sacraficed his life his family and children to save his nation. There are few Cambodians at outside of Cambodia don't see what this Old Monarch did.
The King was a politician and now he retired, so he chose new hobby to write whatever he likes to write just writes. He writes and he meets his little people almost every day giving them food and clothes.
He sacrafied his entire nation so that Vietnam can be united under communist rule.
Khmer's army was weak under his reign eventhough war was raging next door. He gained our independence from France but forgot that the French earlier action was to give Khmer Krom to Vietnam.
Would that tell him something? Being weak amongst agressive neighbors invites more aggressions no matter how subtle they are.
History shows the result of his negligence. As gratitute, the Vietnamese still treats our bretheren Khmer Krom like common criminal......

excuse my language, thanks for keeping the "little people" in th dark during the '50s and '60s. glad, everything is changed today. cambodian people, please do not allow leaders to deprived us of getting a good decent education as education is very important in today's world. do self-taught if you have to, like the great president lincoln of the USA did while he was growing up without much former education, but he did a lot of self-taught alll on his own. and it is possible to do, just be smart and be perserverant and discipled like the buddhist monks. keep in mind, there are so many ways to do something, not just only one way and education allow one to see that. god bless cambodia and all her beautiful khmer people.
