On Wednesday the 11th of June, 12 opposition MP's have sent a request through president of the National Assembly, Mr. Heng Samrin, to Mr. Dith Munty, president of the Council of Magistracy, to punish Mr. Chhay Kong, president of the First Court of Phnom Penh, because he has violated the law by issuing a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Dam Sith illegally.
A letter signed by 12 opposition MP's has detailed 4 errors committed by Investigating Judge Chhay Kong, including issuing a hasty arrest warrant on Sunday and Mr. Dam Sith's name was not even written on the arrest warrant.
Radio Free Asia was unable to obtain any comment from Mr. Dith Munty regarding the 12 MPs' request.

I support all member of Cambodian parliament appeal to arrest the judge named Chhay Kong and send him to jail for his gross violation of court, of human right and freedom of expression.
The court is an independent institution to protect justice of all citizen. THe court is not a shoe mate of any politician nor a tool of any government official. Every citizen must have the same right to justice in front of the court and the laws of the country. When one of the parties involved in the court, didn't accepte their guilt, the court cannot send anyone to jail. Jail is a last destination of court result. Without declaring guilty, each citizen are still free in the society excepte criminal suspect whose are suspects of murderer should stay at the custody of the police. THe police should give these suspect all their security and protection before they are accepting guilty and be sent to jailed.
In the case of Dam Sith and Hor Nam Hong, both of them are high profile citizen of the society. The court should give each of the them the most justice satisfation. THe court cannot be influence by any official to punish other whose with low influence. They are both serving the society with their professionalism. Therefore each of them need the same kind of justice and the same kind treatment from the court. Chhay Kong has proved to the world of wrong immage of Cambodia inwhich he should be sacked and be investigated. His decision on Dam Sith is a grave damage to Cambodian court system and is a damage to Cambodia as a whole Nation. Areak Prey

The judge and the court must be impartial and uphold the laws. They cannot be used as political tools in which to conduct a political witch hunt against govt. opponents. Judge Chhay Kong has violated the laws, he must be punished or dismissed.
Here how the judicial system work in Cambodia.If you have problems with CPP and you go to court to solve your problems , you will lose your case no matter what, and if the judges decied in your favor ,they will lose their job.Therefore,oh! i just can't go on ,i'm pissed.
Then whomever loose their jobs even when they did the right thing should not stay quiet. They need to open their mouths to the world and tell the truth. If they don't tough sh.t!
The judge is doing the right thing by stopping all libels and slanders from Ah commie Scam Rainxy and his clan.
The judge should jail Hun Sen as well because he has defamed and slandered his opponents everyday in his speeches on TV.
Judge can't sentence people who has nothing to do with this case, but he should definitely sentence Ah Scam Rainxy to life in Prey Sor for igniting the flame.
