If Thailand considers it a disputed zone and Thai troops can encroach it at will ... why can't Cambodians live there at will also?

Cambodia must display its sincerity in order to resolve the conflict over the Preah Vihear temple issue. Central to this is a 4.6-sqkm disputed area around the ancient temple.

As no bilateral agreement has been reached, both sides should not trespass into this area. However, Cambodian villagers have encroached there, setting up houses as if it were their own territory. Thailand has submitted several protests to the Cambodian government, but the latter has taken no action.

Now that the Preah Vihear temple has been listed as a World Heritage site, fear is growing in Thailand that Cambodia might try to take over the disputed area as well. Thailand must act to protect its territorial integrity.

Tensions rose last week after Cambodian and Thai troops entered the disputed area. Both sides subsequently sent reinforcements ahead of last Monday's meeting of the two countries' defence officials, which ended without a solution.

The disputed area should be a no man's land, with no one being allowed to enter or stay there. Judging from the watershed boundary, most of the disputed area should be considered inside Thai territory.

And while both sides are finding a solution, all the Cambodian people now living in the disputed area must be moved out. These illegal settlements are the starting point of the problem, and they must be resolved first. Once the area is cleared, troops from both countries can be stationed within the same radius from the no man's land.

One final point. Since Cambodia only asked to list the temple as a World Heritage site, it technically recognised that the disputed area did not belong to Cambodia.

In 1962, the world Court already awarded Cambodia the temple and the "surround area" that is marked on the map of the Commission of Delimitation between Indo-China and Siam (Annex 1 to the Memorial of Cambodia).”

Now you are not happy about it, f*ck you azzhole. Would Thailand dare fight Cambodia in the International Court of Law? Cambodia need to sue and take your Nan Chao Siem azzes to court.

Here is our simple plan against your stupid claim: Cambodia respectfully RESUBMIT THE application, and expressively requesting the Court to ''adjudge and declare that the frontier line between Cambodia and Thailand, in the disputed region in the neighbourhood of the Temple of Preah Vihear, is that which is marked on the map of the Commission of Delimitation between Indo-China and Siam (Annex 1 to the Memorial of Cambodia).”

Now who do you think will win? Thailand or Cambodia? Hahah. Take your best shot, azzhole.

Remember this in 1962, the world already said this statement: "There is 'no reason to think that the Parties attached any special importance to the line of the watershed as such, as compared with the overriding importance, in the interests of finality, of adhering to the map line as eventually delimited and as accepted by them. The Court, therefore, feels bound, as a matter of treaty interpretation, to pronounce in favour of the line as mapped in the disputed area.''

Take your best shot, you stupid Siem shitty heads.

WE WILL ALWAYS WIN the case against YOU. Cambodians will take you to court, you stupid greedy jerks!

You greedy and stupid khmers never respect that the overlapping area exists. Even signed agreement not to change the surrounding of overlapping areas, Khmers broke the agreement and built their communities inside the overlapping areas.

When Thais mentioned there're overlapping areas, you fool Khmers said there's none.
So now, Thais don't care about Khmers anymore by claiming that if Khmers said so, Thais will claim that the areas also belong to Thais.

This is because of stupid and greedy Khmers, taking stupid actions first.

Hey thieve Siamese! do you think u can win us by law or war??? u will regret and ashamed wat u have done.

Yes, the Thai can win over any corrupted law. You idiot monkeys don't have any evidence to claim that the temple and the area belong to you except for the dumb French treaty. Everything belongs to Khmer people in Thailand and there are lot of proofs for that.

Don't bark too much siamese... I dont want to talk to idiot & ashamless people like u, siamese!

First of all cambodia not only had the evidents to proof that preah vihear belong to cambodia, but historically and physical evidently cambodia also can proof that the thai provinces in issan are belong to cambodia.Secondly, cambodia never had accepted and/or agreed that preah vihear vincinity a dispute area. And by not including the so-called area with the world heritage application,it does not and would never mean that cambodia, accept that the vincinity is a dispute area. And thirdly,at least, France/or cambodia, has a corrupted law 100 years ago, unlike thailand don't even has one at present day.

No can do, you are talking about the time where all Khmers was a Cambodian citizens, but that condition ceased since the 15th century. Khmer in Issan province has not been a Cambodia citizen since. What make you thing their province and belongings belong to you?

Come on let's see some real proof here. You don't have anything, do you?

Hi Siamese friend ! let me tell you that the disputed zone you refer to is raised by Thailand only. For Cambodia, it is the territory of Cambodia. The International Court of Justice ruled that "The Temple of Preah Vihear is situated in territory under the sovereignty of Cambodia". Only this sentence, it is enough to make you understand that the territory in that area belongs to Cambodia.
So Cambodian people living in that are are legally, but for Thai soldiers stationed on that area are the voilation of the Cambodia territory.

No, not all court verdict are correct. Especially, when the verdict is based on the evil French Colonial treaties. Do you have any other evidences to show that the temple belong to Khmer in Cambodia instead of Khmer in Thailand.
