Thai police and angry local villagers blocked a convoy of nationalist Thai protesters on Thursday from reaching a disputed ancient temple on the country's border with Cambodia. The latest flare-up -- which has seen a buildup of troops on both sides of the border -- was triggered by Bangkok's support for the UNESCO listing, which government critics said was tantamount to selling out Thailand's heritage. A bullet even from an old riffle will pierce a hole in the Siam skull anyway.
Cambodia must returns everything back to Khmer People in Issan province and retreat from the cliff if they know wha't good for them.
Again, Joint development is the best solution for both sides, not war. The Khmer in Issan will not let Cambodia to profit from their temple alone. Don't be so greedy and end up suffering in poverty forever.
there is no khmer issan but Cambodians
well my khmer brothers, those weapons look nice, that when we take them away from them. hehehe
i wonder where are their special forces
Hand Preah Vihea to Vietnam that may be saved from Thai. I am Vietnam and I want to help Cambodian friend again and again.
True, and that is how it was done in the past; but in this case, Vietnam will also need more lands to defend it. It's hard or impossible otherwise.
There is not such thing called Issan province. It is the north-eastern region in Thailand. Are you Khmer from Si Sa Ket province? If so, go and help stop the demonstrators near the border. Can you speak Khmer? Your province is the poorest province in Thailand. You need our temple to economically survive. I understand that is why you want the temple badly. Don't worry, even though the temple belong to us, we will share with you in terms of tourists money. But first you have to stop the stupid Thais from claiming that the temple belongs to them. Use your brain, if you have one, to make sense of things nowadays. Things that happens centuries ago are histories. If you really want to talk about history, half of Thailand belongs to Khmer Kings. If you don't realize this, your brain may be of a side of a penut, which is smaller than those of monkies guarding the temple.
For the Thai boy..you're right on the spot. Thai don't need to kill khmer because you thai people don't have the capability to combat, you have no war experience what so ever compare to 30+ years of fighting experience for every Cambodian and therefore you can not kill khmer, period. I advised you boy and your force to withdraw or you will be regreted.
For Khmer in Issan.. Not sure if there's Issan province but if it is, don't called your self Khmer if you perceived that point of view. Call you self a traitor.
Khmer Patriot
the only reason why both thailand & vietnam want cambodia's because theyre desperate need of resources and economic... and more land.
more recently, oil was found and more tourists from around the world want to see the beautiful heritage of cambodian, "Angkor Wat". it's obvious in the next 5 to 10 years our economic will rise. however, more than so many of the investors are foreigners from China, Japan, and so on.
yes indeed, we don't have a tight secured checkpoint or blockade of people from the outside freely coming in our territory. that's the problem!!!! lack of security...this is the one of the factor everyone is invading cambodia and trying to take over the land, people, and etc.
and it's absolutely WRONG for thai and viet to take something that's isnt theirs!
i dont give a shit about the criticism anyone say about cambodian people because i love my country and i embrace my culture, PERIOD!
if we stick together then we(cambodian) will have higher prestige and power!
As an outsider that has lived and traveled in all three countries Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Cambodia is by far the poorest of the three and Thailand the wealthiest. Si Saket is not the poorest province. Yes Cambodia once ruled in Thailand but the Siam Kings once also ruled as far as Siam Riep. It was France who tried to give you the land Siam never tried to give it to you. That all being said Thailand should give Cambodia the land around the temple but allow Thais to enter freely in excahange for land in another disputed region.
Also if a war were to break out no one would help either side since you both have the same allies and basically are your only enemies. Thailand would destroy Cambodia in a conventional war but would never be able to occupy Cambodia for long i.e. Chinese and Vietnamese occupations.
Yep! you, Thai army pussy died like wild animals during last couple fighting with khmer rouge soldiers, khmer only used rusty AK-47 to shoot your ladyboy army in the ASS! tell you what, cambodia just got alot modern weapons now, and we are welcome you, Thai pussy army anytime, come on in bitch!!
Khmer got all kinds of modern weapons right now, so, watch out Thai pussy army! you, Thai army people knew how to run fast from the battle fields....pussy Fags army!
To Thai boy Fag! Khmer rouge killed your Thais pussy army like rats! on 04/03, one hundred death and wounded, huh? you felt the pain now bitch..!!
Shame on you Siam boys!!!!
You have to learn your history a bit more.
The Khmer Empire used to rule nearly the whole of South East Asia at one stage.
Thailand never existed at the time.
The Siams were slaves of the Khmer Kings and it's people for centuries.
Basically speaking , if you must know- The whole of now known as Thailand used to belong to the Khmer- who ruled South East Asia.
My question is for the previous writer. Is how could Preah Vihear belong to Thailand if it is on Khmer territory?
This does not make sense to me at all.
So you Siam are lucky that the Khmer are not claiming the whole of the Ancient Siam- which will include Bangkok and other provinces in the present state now known as Thailand.
Think about it!!!!!
Your government have been teaching you the wrong history. And the whole world knows about this.
One other thing that you must take into account also is that the Thai language derived from the Khmer and we are not ashame to admit that we derived from the Indians.
So for your info...... do more research for your and your country sake!!!
Don't be embarassed about this, but accept it with dignity.
This is a history lesson for you.
