[Thai] PM: Foreign Ministry in charge of Preah Vihear dispute

Wednesday, July 23, 2008

(BangkokPost.com) - Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej said he assigned the Foreign Ministry to be in charge of dispute concerning Preah Vihear.

"Foreign Ministry will be in charge of the matter and declare Thailand stance," he said.

He refused to comment on Cambodia asking for Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean)'s help to end the dispute.

He was also tight-lipped when asked about Supreme Commander Boonsang Niampradit's suggestion that leaders of both Thailand and Cambodia engage in a talk to solve the issue.

To everyone,

Just a short notice, Thailand is doing this game to fight back to its opposition parties. Thai ruling party will urge opposition party to take this post and struggle with Cambodia at international arena. Of course, they now that Thailand will definitely loss for this case. When it comes to happen Thai ruling party can shut the mouth of opposition parties up by blaming them of failing to deal the case (the case that Thailand is sure that they will lose)
