Cambodian Hem BunTing (L) trains with 19-year-old Sou Titlinda (R) in Phnom Penh July 12, 2008. Cambodia's Hem Bunting is certain his rivals' preparations for the Beijing Olympics marathon would have been a lot different to his. Unlike his fellow athletes, Bunting has no coach or sponsor and trains on the busy potholed streets of the impoverished nation's capital Phnom Penh. Picture taken July 12, 2008. Wow she has a polo shirt on for running? How sad that there's not rich Khmer folks in Cambodia support them.
It is sad indeed but that is not not what our country focused. Ready made $ 100 notes is much more inportant than sport represents our country. Simply say that there is no money in sport that our politicians can put their hands on.
The country is beautiful, but most officials are rotten .

I want to send money directly to him and his mother or his family, but no one can help me how to send a gift to this poor good athletic Khmer. I don't want to send to others but directly to him and his mother.
all the best in the olympic my man!!! show the world !!
This is yet another reminiscence of the Thai invasion of the Preah Vihear temple when our (Khmer) soldiers were wearing flip-flop sandals with their half-civilian-and-half-army clothes during the territorial spat. I was literal in tears when I saw the photos. Further, the recent frontier dispute and these young men and women who are on their way to the 2008 Beijing Olympics incidents have underscored a colossal failure of the Cambodian government and de jure and de facto leader Hun Sen.

I'm supporting the entire baseball program in Cambodia and I am honor to sponsor Hem once he's return from the Olympic.
