Two opposition leaders said Friday they would continue to push the international community to support their denial of July's election results, following a series of hearings this week that dismissed their complaints of fraud and calls for a re-vote.

The Sam Rainsy and Human Rights parties maintain the election results were fraudulent and have called for a nationwide re-vote, citing a number of irregularities during the run-up to the election and on the day of the polls.

The parties are now seeking international lawyers to complain of irregularities to the US government, the EU and the UN, and to call on them "to review their relationship with the fourth mandate of the Phnom Penh government," opposition leader Sam Rainsy said Friday. "The Phnom Penh government has come from an illegal National Assembly, which came from unfair elections."

Kem Sokha, president of the Human Rights Party, said a failure of the international community to intervene would lead to "the death of the democratic process in Cambodia."

Both the National Election Committee and the Constitutional Council maintain that the elections were legitimate, with the ruling Cambodian People's Party claiming to have won 90 or 123 National Assembly seats.

According to the NEC, the Sam Rainsy Party won 26 seats and the Human Rights Party won three.

CPP, Funcinpec and Norodom Ranariddh Party officials say they will go ahead with a swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected National Assembly on Sept. 24, but both opposition leaders said Friday their representatives would boycott the ceremony.

A boycott of the ceremony could lead to a further delay in the formation of a new government.

Talking about political democracy, changes is so important because the longer people in power, the longer they abuse.

Even the Mobile Phone companies, if you call to help line of 016, 011, and 012, you will here a lot of abusive voice of those help line after they only in Cambodia for around 10 years.

I suffer too many times already every time, I call 016, 011 and 012.

We need change!

People of Cambodia should call for international communities's assistance in seeking "fairness" of the election "once and for all". Fairness in the election under the regime remained undoubtedly out of reach since the jurdicial system, weak law implementation and authorities are all "too impartial and abide by politcial party's sideline" rather than independent bodies and serve in line of law. And international communities can leave democracy of Cambodia in the middle of nowhere here; they should at best put pressure on the current system to handle the election complaints appropriately and legally, but not solutions influenced very much from the boss government. The game is never be "FAIR" when: the judge, the referee all favor a particular contestant.

Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha are struggling in the right time, right place and right cause for the genuine development of justice, fairness and democracy in Cambodia.

Election in Cambodia is just the facade of totalitarianism leadership of Hun Sen to legitimize his power. In reality, no fair and partial politic game in Cambodia.

Otherwise, the opposition themselves have to strengthen the internal capacity leadership in their cohort for future success.

The smart persons will not focus only on Sam Rainsy and Khem Sokha for the strong future opposition.

I was present in cambodia during the elections .
The general election in 2008 take place in conditions better than in 2003.
And all the national and foreign observers mainly are of this opinion.
Hun Sen has already said, if the CPP loses elections, Hun Sen goes away.
The PSR is the biggest loser of this election.

Why Sam Rainsy does not leave his functions of President of his party?

The elections are finished well.
The people spoke. The democracy spoke.

The time came to set to work for all.

Today, our country hardly begins to live again: the investments arrive, the business restarted, the tourists return, institutions begin again to work.....
Many challenges and obstacles wait for Cambodia on the long road of its reconstruction and its development.

It is the social peace and the political stability which are indispensable conditions to begin its reconstruction.
It is also the peace and the political stability and the economic development that will allow the democracy be better listened in Cambodia.

Today, in our country, the priority it is the economic development.
The democracy comes only later.
Because to what is of use for having the democracy while there is no work, no housing, not of which be treated when we are sick?

The History showed us that an economically developed country is a country which gathers the conditions favorable to the development of the Democracy and which will be respected and listened to by the other countries.

And that a country under developed, divided, weak, combines the favorable conditions for the lasting installation of the Dictatorship and will be easily the prey of the predators.

In this optics the partisan contesting of the election's result by Mrs. S. rainsy and .K. Sokha appears as anti-patriotic, and is not useful for the general interests of the country.

This partisan contesting of the election's result by Mrs. S.rainsy and K. Sokha appears as before serving the personal interests of these two persons.

In these precise conditions, The use of the word of violation of the Paris’s agreements is only an imposture.

For the immense majority of our fellow countrymen in the country, what interests us above all it is how to maintain for time to come the two digit economic growth, to give some work to the young graduates who take out schools and universities and how to help Cambodia to defend better its interests in front of the other countries.
