Bosses, don't go to join parliament with CPP! SRP and HRP should stay away from parliament and let CPP and other minority parties take our seats...I'm sure Hun Sen will do it.

We should cry as childish for help from Franch and ASEAN though EU observers have made their annoucement that the July election was better than other previous elections while ASEAN sent no observer to watch election...

We together, SRP and HRP can join to ask for reelection until next life though we are sure that Franch and Indonesia can do nothing about our complain...

My beloved Khmers!

There is a distinction between how Khmer PoliSick appears to us and how it really is. Mentally and arrogantly Khmerituding, is always instantly regarding as selfishly and greedily foolish, as proof of the insane madness of the PoliSick.

yes, politics is dirty. it takes a strong individual to do a good job at it! if you are weak, make way for someone else who is more capable to do the job right in the first place.

Hello Poster 5:18PM,
What wrong for me to congratulate Sacrava'works?
AS you have seen in these recent years that many royal families member haven't behaved very well to gain respect from our general public at all. They tried to be like pigs ( to be fed and ready for breeding). They didn't work hard to build their own integrity to protect the country and the helpless people. They have flip flop all the time to gain their own interest. Cambodian proverb goes" Preah Reachea trov reksa now Tuospith ning reach Thor krub bror ka ". Areak Prey

Sacrava and fans are so lost touch with reality. While intentions of these political caricatures are genuine, the results are destructive. I don’t see how these sarcastic portrayals would be a constructive criticism to the Cambodian democracy. They should spend more time in the country to absorb the actual living conditions of the people and compare it with that of the previous regimes. They should put some efforts into studying the Cambodian history as written by Western scholars. These sarcastic caricatures will do nothing but incite hatred among Khmers. HS Sihanouk has done so much for his beloved people. Western-written history books can be a testament to this fact. His policy of instilling and emphasizing stability over his royal family’s pride and power is the correct policy at present. Considering the turbulent Cambodian history of the last 700 years; brothers overthrowing brothers, uncles ousting nephews, Thai/ French/Vietnamese colonialisms, genocide, and later communism, the current form of government is the probably the best compromise among these regimes. Stability in its current form is probably the most effective method to stop TERRITORIAL LOSSES and FURTHER DIVISIONS. Perhaps after the CPP rule, Cambodians can institute some meaningful democratic reforms. But changes have to come gradually.

I'm appalled to see a recent remark by a self-proclaimed British economist calling our Cambodian people as "brainless" for voting for the CPP. Well, perhaps they are voting for STABILITY than WAR and DESTRUCTION that they are so accustomed to. A non-CPP government cannot 100% percent guarantee stability and some measure of development, if they manage Cambodia the way they manage their own political parties. To my surprise, the critics on this site and other online outlets lacked the national pride to stand up against such foreign look-down. This shows that our online political junkies are so lost touch with history, reality, and self-identification.

One unintentional mistake by allowing the VC to utilize Cambodia as a supply route, as criticized by pro-Lon Nol protégés outweighed all the deeds HS had done in the previous a decade and a half. This move was made in the hopes that Ho Chih Ming would relinquish some control of Kampuchea Krom. But as history repeated itself; we were fooled by the Vietnamese again. In my opinion, had Lon Nol not ousted HM, this would have given HS the opportunity to perhaps recover some Kampuchea Krom territories and/or a stand-off agreement with the post-Ho Chih Ming government, thereby steering clear of the KR genocidal and communist regimes altogether. Millions of Cambodian lives and virtual annihilation of Sihanouk-era infrastructure could have been diverted. I have yet to see a Cambodian history books attempting to analyse pre-1970 events in these scenarios. The plan, as we all come to realize, was rudely interrupted by an incompetent General who brought nothing in the way of reviving the economy and expelling the VC. Just corruption and inefficiency even with an influx of some $2B US assistance. I can think of no landmarks that can be attributed to the Lon Nol's regime. However, there is an overflowing list of landmarks, economic improvements, territorial gains (Porsat, Battambong, Siem Riep, and Preah Vihear Temple), independence from colonialism, competent and efficient civil service system, the list goes on and on………to be credited to HS N. Sinanouk.

Hi 6:34 AM. I like your comments and views, which are considered very constructive.

But, I am not sure when those self-considered highly eductated people using this site can understand the real cause of the so-illed Cambodia.

Buddha blesses our new Cambodian generation.

It make me vomitting for telling me that CPP leadership can build Cambodia into prosperity and genuine development. I cannot argue if a few craps in here would tell me that Cambodia can develop under CPP with more drugs lords and land grabs individuals. CPP has controled Cambodia since 1979. From 1979-1993, Cambodia was still a country of poverty. From 1993-1995, Cambodia has emerged a little bit out from poverty with much of foreign aids and UNDP programmes. Now only a few building has emrged in Phnom Penh, these few idiots have thought that is a real boom for Cambodia while 95% of Cambodian cannot have access to clean water during summer and all school teachers are still earning less than a dollars a day. All luxuries building are indeed owned only by foreigners and land grabbers. Cambodian doctors, school teachers etc.. cannot afford to buy a house from their salary yet. I agree Cambodia may take off if all present CPP leadership will resign for a new group of young blood to take over like China and Vietnam. Areak Prey
