SRP REJECTS ELECTION PROVISIONAL RESULTS AS PROCLAIMED BY NEC

We have pointed to the main irregularities that tarnish the July 27, 2008 national election as elaborated in the following statements:
If those irregularities were only partly addressed, the election results would distort the will of the people to a lesser extent and would, according a sensitivity analysis we have conducted, lead to the following allocation of seats at the new National Assembly:
  • CPP: 77 seats (instead of 90 as wrongly proclaimed by the NEC).
  • SRP: 35 seats (instead of 26).
  • HRP: 7 seats (instead of 3).
  • NRP: 2 seats (unchanged).
  • FUNCINPEC: 2 seats (unchanged).
See how fraud can be partly redressed with our sensitivity analysis by clicking here.

Every Khmer citizens knows and understands that Cambodia is a country where scapegoat is ubiquitously and prevalently used to demonize and antagonize the opposition leaders or political dissidents, since the government of Cambodia does not have an oversight or accountability (in fact, DO NOT count on the NEC ‘it’s useless’), a system of checks and balances, I have no faith in the Cambodian system of government.

3:18 AM Khmer Farmer,

Sam Rainsy Party knew this and they did an excellent job to prevent all these cheating tactics from CPP before the election.

Why and why they let these cheating tactics slip through their fingers and they did not find out until after the election?

Are they stupid or what???????????
