Cambodian military reported that Thai soldiers had moved deeper inside Cambodian territories at Ampil district in Oddor Meanchey province, at the Tam Moan temple areas.
Pol Then, commander of the battalion 422 said on 27th August that Thai soldiers had moved in to take control of the Choup Trolork district three days earlier where another areasnearby had been occupied by the Thai soldiers a week ago.
Mr. Pol Then said :"they have moved in about 100 metres to the west of Chai Chkae. They moved in about 3-4 days ago. Before they stationed there, later they moved out, but now they had moved in again".
People living in the village said that Thai soldiers are patrolling very close to their house, about 50 metres from their houses. A villager said: "the Thai soldiers are patrolling very close to our houses, about 50 metres away".
Villagers living in Choup Koki said that they are facing hunger because the Thai soldiers had closed the border and they cannot go to Thailand to make a living and now they are appealing for assistance from the Cambodian government and generous people.
Earlier in the week Thai soldiers had closed the gate of the Ta Moan temple and would not allow any Cambodians in to visit the temple as per the agreement with the Cambodian side. At the same time one Thai soldier had destroyed a GPS machine of a Cambodian official from the Ministry of Arts who were doing a survey in the area.
The Thai and Cambodian sides had agreed to withdraw the troops from the disputed areas but so far, there is no sign of a withdrawal. Thai soldiers stationed at Preah Vihear said that his unit is still waiting for the order to withdraw. He said: "we are still at the same place. We've heard that the order to withdraw will come after the 29th, 30th (August)".
Thai and Cambosdian soldiers stationed at Ta Moan temple said that they are awaiting for the results of the 4th negotiations in Siem Reap on the 29th August.

Khmer people. Please keep in mind that the reason why Thai troops move back into Cambodia is the pressure from Samak's enemy who used PAD to put pressure on the government. There is someone who is the most powerful in Thailand who is behind this crisis. This PAD is being used to overthrow the Prime Minister elected Thaksin, now again being used to remove all Thaksin's allies such as Samak.
If you ask any Thai protesters they will tell you the same thing "he is a fool", nothing else.
The invasion in Preah Vihear already showed Thailand that Hun Sen government is weak, unless Vietnamese troops come to help, but with the secret friendship between Hanoi and King Bhumibol, Thailand can take Cambodia in a day with its elite army and tanks.
With this corruption and the povery rises, many Khmers I ask their opinions, they prefer to live with King Bhumibol, the richest man.

This is very bad news for Cambodia for HUN SEN not doing anything to Thai.
Look back in 1986, when Thai done the same thing to Laos. Laos smashed Thai and killed close to 200 Thai soldiers. Then the Thai learn their lesson and never bother the Laos again.

I'm sure you are one of Thai PAD support. I feel sorry for your country going downward. You are encroaching Cambodian territory just like your friends Khmer Rouge encroached into Vietnam in 1975. It was KR's double mistakes, it is also PAD's double mistakes. Greedy has been destroying your nation's stability. Bangkok drown in flood of blood, Siem Rep/Angkor florished/glorified.
Watching the protests in Bangkok saddens me. The PAD is trying to unseat a demo-cratically elected government. Breaking into government offices is not a good way to protest.
Remember, the eyes of the world are upon Thailand now, and friends that I have spoken to are baffled by this ever restless country.
It certainly will not do your tourism industry any good. Remember that Vietnam and Cambodia are opening up to tourism. If the PAD does not stop its antics, visitors will go elsewhere.
The PAD should stop shaming the country.

It's very simple Samak is in deep shit and now he want to turn the attention of PAD protester and the nation toward the border dispute. My friend we should stay calm and watch the show.
In a few weeks the fat Samak will be history. This mother fucker is very hypocrite toward Cambodia. So let wish him farewell down the road to hell.

10:14PM, Yes, Samak will go soon, but if the PAD comes in they will be worst. Remember, the PAD are the ones who caused the invasion of Preah Vihear, they were the ones who stirred up the nationalistic sentiments that caused the Thai to protest in front of Preah Vihear and when Khmer guards arrested the protesters who crossed into Cambodian lands, the Thai soldiers crossed in to release them but the Thai soldiers stayed until now. I think Samak is better than the PAD in regard to the Preah Vihear issue. Remember, the PAD wants the temple back.
