Cambodian military officials in Oddor Meanchey province said that hundreds of Cambodian troops had been sent to the Khmer-Thai border at Ta Krabey temple in Kork Kpous commune, Ampil district to prevent Thai troops from being re-occupied the temple which is located in Cambodian territory.

Commander of Battalion 422 of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, Mr. Pol Then, has said on Thursday the 11th that hundreds of Cambodian troops had been transported since Wednesday night to the Ta Krabey temple in between Thmor Daun district which Thai troops had been trying to occupy. And the military confrontation had been very tense.

The same military official said that up until Thursday, Thai and Cambodia troops are still besieging each other in many layers.

Mr. Pol Then said: "Many of my soldiers have been sent there since last night and two more truckloads of troops are being sent to reinforce us. A moment ago the situation has been eased because we agreed to negotiate on the temple building. Now they don't know how to withdraw. Yesterday we were inside the temple and they came to encircle us from behind the temple. So we sent the troops to encircle them as well, but they sent the troops to encircle us in a second layer."

According to Cambodian military sources, up until Thursday afternoon there were about 140 Thai soldiers in the area and that they have already occupied the temple. Cambodian military sources said that at about 8pm Wednesday night about 12 Thai soldiers have forced their way in to occupy the Ta Krabey temple to open the way for other troops to move in.

According to a military official based at O'Smach who spoke on condition of anonymity said that a Cambodian soldier has fired a single shot in the air to stop them from moving in to occupy the temple but the Thai troops were not deterred.

The same military official said: "They moved in at night time and our troops tried to push them back by firing into the air but they still moving in."

Governor of Ampil district, Mr. Chap Phat, said that Ta Krabey temple is located about 6km east of Thmor Daun district and that area is uninhabited.

Mr. Chap Phat said that district officials are trying to go to the areas to assess the situation but were unable to get there because they were unable to cross the many rivers which were flooded due to heavy rains.

Mr. Chap Phat said: "This morning I tried to go there but the floods have cut the roads so we cannot cross the rivers. The area is uninhabited."

At Ta Moan Thom temple which were located nearby, there were reports that the Cambodian side has sent more troops to the area, while Thailand has sent more troops to the area also which their troops have already re-occupied the temple more than a week ago.

I can see in the photos that the troops do not even have combat boots on their feet or the personal equipment harness for other combat gears and accessories.
The top brass in PPenh are throwing these poor khmer peasants to the wolves once again like the many previous (failed) administration of Sihanouk, Lon Nol, Pol Pot.
When is the khmer leadership going to learn, if not this time, it will be terribly teribly late!

So much for AH HUN SEN peacefully diplomacy! It only took 12 Thai soldiers to invade Cambodia? And after negotiation and the fucken Thaicong don't know how to withdraw? How about cut off the Thaicong supply line? This is getting fucken ridiculous!

Oh well! The diplomacy of AH HUN SEN is not to shoot! I have to wonder why AH HUN SEN require the Khmer armies to carry the fucken gun for and tell me why the whole Cambodia should have the fucken gun.

This is a fucken repeat failure of AH HUN SEN peaceful diplomacy! AH HUN SEN fail to learn his past mistake and Cambodia will continue to be victimized by his past mistake!

Really sad for our soldiers. They are selling their lives to protect Cambodia but the corrupt leaders in generals in PPenh don't care about them, not even providing them with boots. TVK and other TVs are Hun Sen's and CPP's propaganda tools. They lied. It only took 12 Thai soldiers to invade Cambodia. This showed that Hun Sen doesn't care about protecting our borders because all the soldiers are at his Toul Krasaing home and bases around CPP's strategic interests to protect their powers. I predict that all the temples occupied by Thai troops and area around Pvihear will remain in Thai hands forever because Hun Sen doesn't care about them, he only cares about his powers and money.

The Hun Sen's administration must exercise with extreme caution when dealing with the Thai troops this time, because the former Thai prime minister just recently toppled, and therefore, the equation has change. Moreover, the conflagration between the two nations could be embroiled -- again, if the situation is further escalated. THIS TIME, I'M NOT TOO WORRY ABOUT THE HUN SEN'S SIDE, BUT THE THAI'S FORMER PRIME MINISTER'S SIDE.

It is necessary to create a special commission to follow and negotiate the territorial conflicts with thais the name of commission JAYAVARMAN VII in honor to our defunct former king at once conquering and master-builder of Angkor and unifying of the khmer empire formerly.

Yep, I agree that Hun Sen only Loves Money n Power equals Greed n Selfishness. He will has has time to burn in hell with the devil. Much of Khmer media outlet are owned n operated by the cpp. So of course they only show u what they want u to see. No brainer there, right? The poor khmer soldiers really carry guns for what, to only fire into the air..pls the thai soldiers are not intimidated by this. If I were Hun Sen..I would send my troops to march into thai territory..government n king's place n bomb those Son of a Bitches Out. I'll even go to Tranny land and Cut off those Faggot so cuts Dicks that they so much love to Suck n Fuck!!!!

The priceless and intangible asset which we have lost and continue to lose over years of neglect and indifference, has been the sacrifice, the valor and the courage of our poor young khmer peasants who believe that THEY! are the one who should defend the motherland. In many instances in the past khmer army fought with bare minimum arsenal, but always with loyalty, motivation and plenty of guts!
I salute them, I missed them, and will again joint them if given a chance!
Hang-on my brothers, when there is a Will there is a Way!
