Cambodian PM gives green light to prince to return home

AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said he would arrange a royal pardon for Prince Norodom Ranariddh, allowing him to end his self-imposed exile after being convicted of fraud.

Ranariddh had been sentenced in absentia to 18 months in jail after a court ruled he illegally sold his former political party's headquarters and used the proceeds from the sale to purchase another property in his own name.

Hun Sen said during a ceremony that King Norodom Sihamoni - Ranariddh's half-brother - would issue a royal pardon.

Hun Sen said he wanted Ranariddh at the opening of parliament next Wednesday.

The announcement came after Hun Sen's party was this month officially declared winner of the country's general election, extending his 23-year grip on power.

AH HUN XEN fear no Cambodian King, Queen, and Prince and Princess because he creates all of them!

I hope AH Prince Ranariddh learns his lesson well! Otherwise AH HUN XEN will teach him a second lesson!

It is sad to know that AH HUN XEN has more respect for the Thai leaders than the King and Queen of Cambodia!

Wow! Only after the elections over that he pardon the playboy. Smells like Ah Kvack political strategy.
Reason being: Rinarridh's absent, gave more votes to HS.

Rinarith comes again, because he still needs money and vulva.

He was born from a rabish family. He hold a rubish Ph.D from a rubish French university, so his character like a vagrant dog.
