CPP is still considering NRP's prostitution offer ... but, no gov't positions for NRP

Minister: NRP not be part of Cambodian new government

PHNOM PENH, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's Information Minister Khieu Kanharith said that though the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP) is considering taking the Norodom Ranariddh Party (NRP) as a partner in the government, the royalist party will not be part of the new government, national media reported Monday.

The government will be formed shortly following the first meeting of the National Assembly on Sept. 24, but that government will be made up of officials just from the CPP and Funcinpec, Khieu Kanharith, who is also government spokesman, was quoted as saying by the Cambodia Daily.

"There are only two parties in the government," Khieu Kanharith said.

"We will think later about the Norodom Ranariddh Party," he added.

Khieu Kanharith said the CPP has not yet seriously considered the NRP as a partner because the royalist party has not yet announced its support for the CPP political platform.

But last week the NRP President Norodom Ranariddh did release a statement urging the CPP to form the next government quickly in order to "lead the country towards development and reducing poverty according to the CPP's political platform."

Formerly an opposition party, the NRP has indicated in recent weeks that it is interested in joining forces with CPP, particularly if it could result in the return of Prince Ranariddh, who is currently in self-imposed exile to avoid a prison sentence.

The NRP won two seats in parliament in the July 27 general election, according to official election results.

Between the thais to the east, the viet to the west, and the climbed progressive in power of the radical Islam to Cambodia and his aspiration to become an autonomous political movement (with in the long term the creation of an Islamic republic, why not since the others political parties are incapable to govern the country.).

Sam rainsy and khem sokha with the pitiful spectacle that they give to the world eyes, are again very far to govern the Cambodia to them only.

God protects the Cambodia!

To Cambodia, after peace rediscovered, the time came at present to consolidate definitively the khmer monarchy to give again to Cambodia his international radiance that the world knew it and liked it.

In these times of uncertainties and facing the climbed of the perils diffuse, only the plunging monarchy its roots in centuries of Cambodia 's history possesses alone historic legitimacy that no political current possesses is the f centripetale force able to cement national unity.

attitude! some people are stil so elitist and arrogant in their small brain thinking. i think it's good for all political parties to unite, especially after the election is over with, so to share tasks and work together for the sake of national reconciliation and building a bright future for cambodia's people and economy.
