FBI Team En Route To Aid Murder Case

A team of FBI investigators will arrive in Cambodia later this month to help police investigate the murder of opposition journalist Khim Sambor.

The team will include at least two sketch artists, said Phnom Penh Police Chief Brig. Gen. Touch Naroth.

Cambodian police and the FBI will meet one or two times a week to exchange information on the investigation, he said. Police met with an FBI official from the US Embassy last week, he said.

Khim Sambor was shot dead in Phnom Penh on July 11, along with his 21-year-old son, Khat Sarin Pheatha, two weeks ahead of national elections, and his killers are still at large.

Touch Naroth said Thursday the motive was not considered political, but police believe the killers were targeting Khim Sambor's son.

Khim Sambor's wife and two daughters were quietly granted asylum and fled to a Western country in late August, Chan Saveth, an investigator for the rights group Adhoc, said Thursday.

What should they do to make you satisfy, Mr(s) highly educated and highly entellegent?
I think only way to make that, they have to repeat everything you say and follow everything you suggest.
I guarantee that whatever they find related to the case, you will alway not accept. If they find the killer(s), you can just say that they set them up. If they cannot find, you will say that they don't do anything. Now they ask FBI to help, you say that FBI is on thier side. What's a pity! They are supposed to be wrong.
This is really a spirit of opposition, I will give you all a degree of opposing.

The Hun Sen police will try to play foul with FBI.But I am confident that FBI will do their job professionally. At least they will have a clear knowledge that Hun Sen police always try to block the real investigation of the case.

For 80k (or more)per year for the G-man living in Cambodia, of course, is more than a vacation.

Also, I highly doubt it if the witness (witnesses)will come forward because these people are afraid of reprisal, and it will undoubtedly impede the murder probe.

The bottom line is this: Mr. G-man, enjoy your vacation in Cambodia while it lasts, because the madman, Hun Sen, can alter his behavior at any time -- as I write.

The FBI don't need to waste time to look for the killers. They never won't be found. If the FBI wants to look for those killers, go to Hun Sen's Tourl Krosaing compound and talks to Hun Sen directly about the murder case. Those killers are coming from that compound. It's not a robbery or hatred; it is politically assassination by Hun Sen. Hun Sen has a lot of assassins working for him by 7/24. So don't waste your time, Mr. FBI, to talk to Cambodia police. Just go straight to investigate from Hun Sen compound first.

I agree 11:45 G-man is a GS/13 and above.
I thought the G-man principals was to conduct "internal investigations and counterterrorism."
Since when did Cambodia became "internal" affair?

Don't get me wrong; I'm all for the Fidelity, Integrity and Bravery, but I think they should mainly focus on their primary job,.... that is counterterrorism.

We all know that the G-man can uncover the truth, but will the reports reflects the finding.... is the question.
Look no further G-man, just tape off Hun Sen's mansion with yellow tapes crime scene and start your initial investigation there......
Uncovering the truth can be harmful when we are in a "no mans land."
