Considering that the royalists are not represented in the current “so-called royalist” parties, Thomico said that he is ready to make a comeback if the CPP does not hold its promises.
The prince is caught by the political bug which itches him again. Lately, he brought up with some of his former political companions, the idea of forming a new political party in order to perpetuate the “royalist path.”
Prince Thomico declared to Cambodge Soir Hebdo: “It is not 100% certain, we are waiting to see how the CPP rule.” Hun Sen’s party announced that it would lead the country by using the Sangkum Reastr Niyum (SRN) – the political model initiated by Norodom Sihanouk between 1955 and 1970 – as its reference.
If the CPP does what it announced, the prince announced that he would be pleased to help it. To the contrary, if the CPP strays from this reference, he said that he is ready to form a new royalist party. To the prince, there is a void to be filled in because: “You Hocky’s NRP and Nhiek Bun Chhay’s Funcinpec are not royalist.”
Prince Thomico based his analysis on two main points: the borders issue and the land disputes. “During the SRN era, no foreign soldier set feet in Preah Vihear and there was no land dispute,” the prince summed up.
The creation of a new royalist party remains hypothetical nonetheless. Furthermore, a law could be adopted to ban members of the royal family from being involved in politics. Such an option would also please King-Father who called on members of the royal family to quit their political career. In the past, Thomico was favorable to this call as proved by his return to the royal palace at the beginning of this year.

Please don't be afraid of difficulty in the aircon room.
Anyway, we are republicans no need to curse them too much. Otherwise, they will only have one choice is to subordinate the CPP even though CPP is really the one that abuse the Royalists.
